Mine are gong well, but it sounds like you may need to not get involved as much this year.  Do you have children that will be disappointed?  If so, put them to work to decorate for you.  It may not be the prettiest, but done with love.  Just lay back and listen to the Christian Contemporary Christmas music this year and relax.  It is a presense of mind that is most important anway

I thought that I would be coasting for the rest of the year but I had a really nasty cold this weekend that put me way behind. I tried working out harder than normal and seemed to have weakened my immune system. I started hitting it harder to catch up yesterday but ended up coughing so hard, last night, that I blacked out. Guess I just need to take it as it comes. I think I have about ten posts left here. I have my day job under control and I have just gotten to where I need to be on my second job. I have a half day tomorrow and Thursday which will allow me to finish my commitment for job two and get a lot of job three done. I still need to put up exterior Christmas decorations which is more important this year given some clouds on the horizon.

Seems I'm just on auto-pilot & just going through the motions, making sure I get a couple things accomplished daily... all means to a festive ending, hopefully.   I'm off for two weeks starting this Friday, so hopefully the holiday season feelings will kick in, or else I'll just have to continue faking the holiday spirit.

I purchased a few ornaments online from Pier 1 Imports today -- they are 1/2 off & then today there is an additional 10% off if you order online & pick up in store  -- so I got the ornaments for like $3.00 each.  Yay!

I am not sick currently but I have been feeling under the weather lately with sinus issues and rainy weather. No flu here or anything, but I have been so busy with work and holiday tasks and shopping that it's crazy! Hardly any time to send out Christmas cards or extra gifts this year. Maybe I'll be able to get in a little bit of baking though. Our family will finish decorating our Christmas tree tomorrow. All decorations have been put out. All holiday shopping is complete, and everything just needs to be wrapped now.
