Simple Solution
« on: December 12, 2019, 09:51:03 am »
I found a new tool today that helps me get the Smart Searches done in the Video section. It's a countdown timer website that I open in another tab so it shows the time left on the tab and even rings an alarm when it's finished. No more guessing.

Thanks for the tip.  Will have to try it out tomorrow.  I usually just watch the time on my laptop

That's actually a nice thing to try out unless you have other types of items that shows it.

As usual - oldbuddy gives another great tip and gets another click of the "say thanks" button!

This can be very useful for a lot of site visits without visual timers since it shows the time right in the tab. I visit a few bitcoin faucets where they display the 'time left until next claim' in the site tab like this. But even the sites that show a time countdown on the page - it is so much easier when you can see it on a tab - so you can navigate away from the page and not forget about your click.

That sounds great, I always seem to waste time being to long on them so that I am sure to finish.  I need a good timer.   Thanks.

Cool!  I usually just ask Alexa to set a timer when I need one.

Good idea, but I don't have Alexa in my computer room, only living room and kitchen. I tried running it on my desktop, but didn't like it and $25 is too much for a timer.
