I'm watching the movie now. Have anyone seen this before? It's a sequel to The Shining.

There was another post on this not too long ago & I don't know if it was discussed -- BUT what service is it playing on?  I would like to watch it 

& what do you think about it so far?

Half of me would like to see the sequel to The Shining, Dr. Sleep. The other half of me doesn't want to see Dr. sleep because I'm afraid it sully my memory of the perfection that is The Shining.  It was bad enough when they made a made-for-TV movie remake of The Shining (even though it was closer to the book, it was so meh--kind of like the difference between *bleep* Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory--one was magical *bleep* Wonka) and the other was meh.

I am not a fan of horror movies at all so I have no intentions of ever watching it. But my wife is a movie buff and loves horror films so I'm sure it will be on on of of my TV's as I walk by one of these days. I remember her even mentioning this exact movie and how she loved the original, so if it's out on BluRay already for rental on Netflix of Redbox, I would assume she already watched it.
But I'll stick to my comedies and war movies, thank you!

First off, it was a long movie. But it made sense, it was pretty good. The boy from the first shining was a grown man with a gift of capturing evil..you have to see it. I actually enjoyed it.

no! and i don't care to ! i can't stand scary movies never have ! i will stick to watching disney movies ! lol  to me life is scary enough without watching creepy movies ugh

I ran an internet search & it looks like it is a made for Amazon movie.... so you'd need to have Amazon prime or access to Amazon prime to watch it.   

I don't have Amazon Prime so I'm going to sign up for the free trial & then watch it, then cxl Amazon before I get charged -- always a work around.

I just saw it recently and liked it.  Then I "read" the book (audiobook) and it was pretty different but, I thought both were good.

Never heard of it - I waited years to watch the shining because I thought it was going to the scariest movie ever and to me it was but I finally watched it so I might as well watch this one too and not be a big baby lol
