Don't remind me. Yesterday a local store had a half price sale on little drones and my wife wanted one for some grandkids. She is still recovering from a concussion and didn't feel well enough to go pick one up, so I got drafted.

It was bad enough that the traffic turned a normally 15 minute trip to the store into an hour each way, but when I got there it was so busy I had to ask 3 clerks where to find the item with no luck, then when I finally did find a manager he informed me that at that price they were long gone, so I spent the next hour driving back home empty handed. Oh the joy of shopping.

I don't shop nearly as much as I used to. In the last year I have stopped.  I realize I have way too much stuff like clothes.  I can count on one hand how many new clothes I bought this year.  You shopaholics can have at it.  I'm saving my money.  Don't need more useless stuff.

Yes had to buy 30 presents for 10 people 3 each my kids and grandkids. None that expensive spent 27.00 for pjs for my daughter most expensive item. Now my grandson has a bday jan3rd and my son's girlfriends daughter has a bday Jan 4th. So have to shop again. Will maybe go to Wal-Mart online or in store. People do shop a lot. It's the only time of year that I shop so much. Good thing it's only once a year.

I don almost all my shopping online. I had all my Christmas shopping done by the end of the summer this year. I buy through out the year so I don't have to deal with any mess.

I don't do that type of shopping anymore; when I was younger and still  working full time friends and I would do it;but since retiring I no longer want to put or have that type of energy; when I shop I am focus know what I want and make it a habit to go to the mall on weekdays early in the morning when stores open and most folks are working! it was fun back in the day but just in a different season of life now.

I really don't like to shop, but I did early and was not out there shopping for Christmas, because I don't like the crowds.

Yeah I  cannot believe so many people do it.  My girlfriends family shops so much while I try to avoid it.

I do agree. My store was a mad house all week up till Christmas and after all the returns. Looked like we were tore to shreds.

I had to go to Kroger the day before Christmas Eve, and it was packed, but everybody was so nice.  The spirit of Christmas was alive and well.  I needed garlic powder and could find only a really big jar.  People were crowded around the spice aisle, and I commented to the lady next to me that I needed only a small amount  of the powder and that the only jar I could find was huge.  Two other people started helping me find a smaller jar, and I was thankful for their help.  People were really courteous about letting you through with your shopping cart.  Traffic jams were everywhere!

Oh, I know that joy of shopping. This is why I have turned to online shopping in life as much as possible... the hassle isn't worth it & turning up empty handed because they're out, or whatever is such a time waster. ugh.
