Members Standings

I was just wondering what the meaning of the standings are?  Like gold member, silver or platinum?  How do they work?  I did look for the answers in rules but couldn't find it.

I think it has to do with the amount of posts you've done, but I'm not sure.

It does have to do with the number of total posts you make.  You start out a Newbie and work your way up the more you post.

That remains true until you reach Platinum, then it stays there.

It means you could have a custom t-shirt printed bragging about your status and feel justified in wearing it. Who knows, it might even pick up a few referrals for you.

That is not a "member standings".  All that means is how many posts you have made in the forums.  It auto goes to the next level when you pass that threshold of number of posts.
