Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

My first job was telemarketing. I was terrible at it. You get a few people yelling and swearing at you for calling them. But there were also a lot of seniors that appreciated someone to talk to once in a while, if only briefly. I wasn't supposed to go off script, but I didn't have the heart to stop a woman from singing a song that she used to sing to her grandkids or the woman who told me all about the surgeries she'd had. One time I was even asked out on a date by an older man. It was sad to know all these people were so lonely that they'd even talk to an annoying telemarketer. I hope I made their day a little better by listening to their stories.

My first job was in an ice cream shop in the 1970's....it was only open from March-October and was a great place to work in High School.  If you happened to be a cute guy, you might have gotten a free cone from us!  ;)

My first real job was when I was 16 years old and working in the ladies' department for Sears. At that time, long ago, Sears was a somewhat prestigious store. They even sold real fur coats (like i said, it was a LONG time ago). There was a manned shoe department, a fine jewelry department, and a big old candy counter!  :peace:

Worked at my old university at this movie theater briefly. Even though I technically worked before, this was the first job I had that I considered an actual job.
