The folks have gone nuts, emptying the stores of all essentials. Still managed to get TP, milk & water, but no Eggs or Bread to be found.

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

I'm working this weekend.  A nice big office all to myself.  Not too many foreign germs here.  I spray everything down with Lysol as soon as I come in every morning and then keep my distance from everyone.
Have a wonderful day!

I have been out.  Had to go to Wal-Mart yesterday to pick up a few things.  The store looked like it was going out of business because people are buying up everything.  Wonder what is going to happen when it comes time to pay their bills since they have used all their money hording things that they probably didn't need.

What makes you think they are hoarding things?  smh  They will eventually eat the food they have purchased. And if their area gets locked down THEY will have food to eat.  And purchases made on a credit card do not have to be paid in full when the bill comes due.  It blows my mind seeing what is happening in my town.  But when you see a person buying a ton of food you also do not know how may people are in their family. It can take a lot of food to supply a family of 8 to 10 for up to 2 months.

I'll go out if I need to go out. The grocery stores make me really sad, though.  :crybaby2: It reminds me of a third world country.  Perhaps it's getting us used to having a Socialist country because of the bare shelves. And I still don't get the toilet paper rush. The last time I was in Walgreen's, everyone was walking around with a package of toilet paper in their arms.

As far as the virus is concerned, I'm always cautious about germs, but not in a nutsy, paranoid sort of way.  :silly: I worry about all the businesses that have to close down. I sincerely hope it does not cripple the economy as they say, but it sure will hurt a lot of businesses.

The hysteria is making me depressed. Is the media fanning this flame or what?  :bs:

I haven't left the house for over two weeks since my car accident, wouldn't have gone out 2day if it wasn't for Dr. appt.

I went to the post office drop box, then to the salon to get my hair cut, then went for a hike at the state park with my brother.

We will be staying home until at least next Wednesday, we take the trash off then and maybe the grocery story.
