I thought this whole stay at home thing was for like 2 weeks, maybe a month. And, even then. I thought it was going to end mid April. But a couple more months of this?  :confused1: no...

Understand the nature of infectious disease...one that is new, the medical community is slowly learning about it, there is no vaccine, and no dedicated treatment that works. The best course of action to end this round of the disease is to do what the infectious disease doctors have been telling everyone for the past month...stay home except for essential travel, stay away from other at least 6 ft. (more when possible), wash your hands frequently and use disinfectant cleaners and wipes, if you feel sick-contact your primary care doctor by phone or online and ask what they would like you to do, then do it!

Every time you hear anything the date has been extended. And they already said it will come back in the fall. SO this is the new norm. smh.  I mean it is getting ridiculous.

I think the information is changing almost daily, depending on where people live in country, we are in MD and are under Stay at Home orders until the end of April, but who knows that may change. I think the whole idea is to keep people from being in crowds; it would help if the country would just follow the different mandates coming down to get this thing under control; this is no longer do and live as i feel!

PA until April 30 but that can change. It's being left up to the states unless the experts decide longer time is needed. They want May or June. As for treatment, they are having some good luck with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin. Hopefully, this will be part of the solution if the FDA gets off their butt.

I don't think the U.S. can take a shutdown that long. It will destroy the country. In two weeks through no fault of their own, there are 6.6 million applying for unemployment. Don't know how they can figure that out since people can't even apply because the system keeps crashing or can't get in because of all the others.

I haven't heard until the end of June like you have, but I wouldn't be surprised if it went as least that long. How could the scientists and doctors be sure large numbers of people wouldn't succumb to the disease if they cut the date too short?
