Thankfully we got ours, but it wasn't for everyone. They didn't count my twins that are graduating this year. Someone told me that they only count kids under 16 years old?  I don't know if that is true.  One of my son's didn't get his at all yet.

slowly people around me are getting theirs I was the first one in my bank in my town , it was really a chore for the bank to figure out how to cash it

If it is a chore for your bank to figure out how to cash a check then you need to find another bank.
If it is a chore sometimes to understand that in life *hit happens.....maybe its time for you to find another forum.

Or maybe you could go thump on some doors. You are not even suppose to be here. Besides that I thought you were ignoring me. lol  You can't. You are obsessed with me.  Maybe YOU should find another forum.  How many accounts have you started now?  How many has moderators deleted?  And yet here you are still thumping nonsense.  Looking for people to fight with. lol  Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.  ::)

If they are over a certain age they should have got their own check unless they can be counted as a dependent. And then you would have got the money for them (who who ever claimed them on their taxes last time they were filed) but it was just $500 or so.  I would not go by what "somebody told me".  Go to the IRS website. It has the info on the website detailing who gets money.

Some people are entitled to their opinions one way or another
Glad you are doing something good with your check !!!  others are out just spending that money on stupid thing,,,  and not paying their bills or anythng.  Sounds like your idea was a good one to help the kids with schooling !!  Good for you

It is really none of your business what somebody else spends their money on. Some people may think getting internet is stupid.
Bhahahahaha! Well, that's the pot calling the kettle black, if I've ever heard it!  Not long ago CG was whining about non-existing "WELFARE" folks spending this impact $ on 60 inch tv's!   What a hypocrite, who is always up in other peoples business!    :turkey: :bad:    :BangHead:

You can get $500 for each kid under 17 that you claim as a dependent.  I don't know why 17 year olds are excluded, as most are still in high school and dependent on parents.   ???

Don't forget this "stimulus" check money is an advance on your 2020 tax refunds!  This is your money that the government expects you to claim as a refund on your 2020 taxes...Not a gift!!   If you don't have money coming back from the IRS when you file your 2020 taxes, then you don't have to repay, but if you do, it will have this amount deducted first!  Just saying, people are donating this money and I have to think they really do not understand.

LOL Not long ago you were screaming how you ignore me. So why are you responding to me? Talk about being foolish.  And if you think "welfare" people are non-existent you are even more ignorant than I thought.

It doesn't really matter if they donate it or not. But yeah most people don't understand that they won't get the big refund next year.  I would say most people don't get $1200 or more back any way. I know I don't.
