Would You Fly on a Plane Right Now?

An old friend of mine who I only talk to occasionally just told me they are taking a plane trip across the company in several weeks (May) and then traveling around in a rental car and then a rented motorcycle. They intend to visit several states. I was really rather shocked and told them I was surprised they would be considering this now and maybe put it off until Fall.  However, this person is rather hardheaded and I didn't get far and didn't try to reason with them much for this very reason. I told them they need to check what is going on as far as regulations in the specific states and virus data before they go, but I am not convinced they will do it.

I have never even flown before. In this case I don't think it's a wise thing to do right now, wait till next year

No I would not fly now.  Actually I would not travel now either.

I wouldn't get on a plane right now unless I absolutely had to for some reason. The only thing wrong with travelling around in a rental car or on a motorcycle is that you have to stop somewhere to eat meals and to sleep and that might be difficult to do while social distancing.

No I would not fly at this time. I'm not a big fan of flying in the first place. I do it to get somewhere, but the close quarters bother me....and germs...ugh!

I would not have flown on a plane before and would not now. Has nothing to do with COVID19.

I love to fly and it's the best way to travel in a hurry but no way would I fly now

No, would not fly on a plane right now, no plans to do so for awhile and when I do I will be wearing a mask!

I am not impressed with airlines to begin with.  I wouldn't fly right now for any reason.

Well I don't fly period but even if I did I wouldn't do what they are planning.  Not just the flying but all of it.  I don't think we have advanced enough in this situation to do what they want to do but I wish them the best.

For one i don't fly and if i did no way not til this covid crap is over. It be safer for me that way you never tell which companies actually do a theory cleaning up there panes are not

You couldn't pay me to fly in an airplane in the best of times! i flew a lot when I was younger, but I have anxiety now, so I'd probably have to have a tranquilizer just to get on a plane, LOL! Right now, though, doesn't sound like a good time for anyone to be traveling cross country in a plane, train, or even an automobile. I hope your friend stays safe during their journey!
