Saving money on your electric bill
« on: July 15, 2020, 06:02:13 am »
Hi all

I was wondering if anyone bought or heard about this device that you plug into 1 of your outlets and it saves you $$$ on your electric bill?

I just bought one and have begun to use it.I will know in a month if it helps.I paid $29.99 for it and another $10 for shipping. For an apt of 1000 sq ft it should be suffice.Of course if U have more sq footage you should buy 1 for every 1000 sq ft.They give U discounts for the more U buy with free shipping too.I also got it right away and i saw the ad on a reputable site.

I will update this and put company info up in a month if i think its a good buy.We have been running AC a lot and im trying to avoid the big bill.

I was just wonderin if anyone else knew ahead of time RE this device.I think they give U $$$ satisfaction back from it.

Thanks.

The return address on the package was MM Electronics LLC from Alameda,Ca. if that helps.

I never heard of anything like that but I would be very interested.  Our electric bill in the summer runs about $200 a month.  It's due to vaulted ceilings in most rooms (takes forever to cool) and we have a well.  Every time you turn the water on or flush a toilet that's run by electric.  Good luck, hopes it works for you.  Keep us posted!

I have heard of them but have not purchase; however am interesting in purchasing as our electric bill in the winter is very, very expensive. We get off in the summer as we have so many trees in the back of our condo and we rarely have to use air conditioner in the summer just the ceiling fan once in awhile; but I hate to see winter comes because I know the bill is going to spike so if this device works I am interested, will follow the thread to see if anyone gives updates.

What is it supposed to do exactly?  You plug in something that used electricity to save electricity.  Sounds like a scam.  Why are you using extra electricity to run it?

Hi Donnamarg323,

I really hope that works in lowering your electric bill. That would be wonderful! I wonder what the science behind it is. You'll have to keep us updated, because if it works for you, I'll be interested in purchasing one myself!  :peace:

TY all for the replys so far.

I am certainly not a whiz kid when it comes to electronics. What i think i understand is this device will not be taking much electricity when plugged in.Its supposed to somehow prevent what you are running so the meter doesnt read the whole surge.

I think i will have an idea after 1 month when i see the bill if it was effective.

Some testimonials i read said their bill was 30 40 % lower.Again no better testimonial then your own.My apt is less then 1000 sq ft and i only needed 1.Those with bigger house might need more then 1 device.1 device is supposed to be equal to 1000 sq ft.

If this product is worth the investment im gonna ask the company if they do any marketing with it if U get them any customers. But i wont promote something until im convinced it works. It wont be the first time i *issed money away if it doesnt. But i bit.Lets see after a month.

Again i will update this.

I think I've seen an ad for this on places like yahoo news, etc.   I didn't click on the ad though, thinking it may be a scam, as there are many out there.   I also will keep up with this thread, to see how it worked out for you, because if it works I would definantly be interested.

No I have never heard of those.  My electric bill has lowered some, and I do have a budget billing were a pay the same amount every month, I purchased a new Refrigerator that has helped, it lowered my bill about $20.  I need to change my 20 years old a/c unit and furnace and I believe that when I do that my bill will lower some more.  But let me know if it works I am interested to see.

However my Gas bill has been really funny the past few years, I also have a budget plan with them, so I pay the same amount all year long.  About 9 years ago we had to replace the water tank which runs on Gas), and as soon as we did that, the next budget plan review (about 3 months later) the bill need it to be adjusted and believe or not we were in the Positive so much that we did not have to pay a bill for about 5 months after that.

Then 2 years ago that water tank explode it and we had to buy a new one, and again my Gas bill was adjusted and we had a positive amount and did not pay for about 2 1/2 months.  And every year after that we have been on the positive by a few dollars. And the bill has been lower.

I've never heard of such a device, but I'm interested to see how it works for you.  Also consider unplugging appliances that are not in constant use (toaster, coffee maker, etc).  Even when not in use an appliance that is plugged in draws electricity.  Just another tip you can try to cut down on your electric usage!  :)
