I said it once, will say again, my family is on this position, my husband had been furloughed until further notice, his unemployment check was about even when he was getting the $600 plus the unemployment, now he is only getting the unemployment and my finances are starting to feel it.  Yes, you can look for a job, but like in my husband case, what is open for hiring, DO NOT want him he is "Overqualified" even at Macys to get hired, so he is not refusing to work he just cannot get anything, and whatever he gets if he gets it, it will not be anywhere close to his salary now.

IF you refuse work the employers reports you and you loose everything, my daughter, who goes to University (her last year) so works part time and who has 3 year old daughter with a very serious case of asthma, we have had to take to the ER many times, because any cold transforms into asthma, she does not feel that her daughter is safe going back to school and since she works for the County on the After school program, she told them she would not be going back to work, they opened summer camp and are opening full day this coming school year she told them she would not be going back and her Unemployment has stopped (which we knew it would happened).  So if you refuse to go back the employer reports you you loose everything, any help the government gives is subject to taxes and helps with living expenses (on normal cases).  So yes expland it but know that you will loose it if you refuse work (it is written big on the unemployment instructions) and is a question that they give you every time you file.

Trump just signed a bill for $400 a week, down from the $600 for unemployment.  I think it’s up until the end of the year.
That is a $400 EXTENSION to the $600 a week that has run out. Remember unemployment in insurance, not welfare.

It kind of becomes welfare when people refuse to work because they are making more sitting at home drawing a check.  The extra should have never been given.  They should have got the unemployment that they normally would have received.  I know several who are making way more drawing a check than they ever did working and they refuse to go back to work.  It is going to be hilarious when tax time comes and they find themselves in a higher tax bracket because of the extra money and they have to pay taxes on this money.  Oh and then they realize that the $1200 was an advance on next year's return so they don't get that either come the first of the year.
FC members take a look at the hipocrite here.

If the president was a democrat CG would be slamming him!!Shes a suck-up for HUMP.She hates others getting FREE money, but cos shes a suck-up to Hump she doesnt blast him, just mildly dis-agreeing with him.LOL!!

Thanks for catching that on Cuntry Girl.  I blocked her with the ignore button so I don't see her posts, this one came through though.

People working part time and making less than half of what people sitting on their butt drawing unemployment make need help too!

IF the employer reports you.  I don't know why you think every employer does this. A lot do not. There was a big story on the news about it.  Employers were saying people are refusing to come back to work. Why? They are getting more money not working.  So then employers were told you need to report the person refused to come back to work and the unemployment will be stopped.  There was a guy interviewed that was saying how his employees would not return to work and he actually said in the interview HOW can I turn them in when they are making more staying home that I can pay them? Nobody said every single person drawing unemployment was refusing to work. But a lot of them are.

As for the questions asked it also asks if you are actively looking for work and most are not.  They say yes they are and make up places they said they tried to get a job.  Funny cause a few years ago a girl I know told me (she was drawing unemployment and had to do the job searches and report them) that she used us as a job search.  I told her she messed up because we had an open ad in with the local unemployment office where we were looking for workers.  The job was general labor and she was qualified for the position.  She is not the only one who lies to get the benefits.  And if you cheat you have to get caught.  Like in other things in life a lot of people do not get caught.

Everyone I know that for one reason or another has refused to go back to work has been reported, as far as I know most places (at least in my area) report when you refuse to go back, I have not heard or have had any experience with employers being nice to the employees that way.  As a matter of fact, even with my husband been furloughed and receiving unemployment and reduced now, his Company told them that IF they want to continue on their "Health Insurance" they need to send a check with their portion of the Health plan or they will be taken out of it.

I do now know where do you see an employer been nice to their employees that way, even my daughter who works for Schools was taken off when she refuse to go back because of her daughter's situation.

You can't really believe Trump.  There is more to learn about this Executive Order.  He may have signed off on it, but is he telling the truth about this?  The Federal Government will pay $300 but the state is suppose to pay $100 of the so called $400.  Most states cannot afford to pay the $100.  So where is the money coming from?

I also believe she (CG) was enjoying the unemployment check she was getting.  Recall something about her staying in and only going out for grocery shopping.  I worked full time through the lockdown as I got the job right before.  My daughter was furloughed and called back to work so her unemployment checks stopped and she is only working part time and looking for work because part time isn't enough.  These are really hard times.  Some people didn't look for work because they're scared of the pandemic.  I live in Florida so it's a hotbed here for the virus.

CG is quite vague about a lot of things cos shes paranoid.

She will rat you out to FC in a heartbeat as some have found out on here plus Google what she might think could give her an advantage over you looking for dirt. But when it comes to her she is quite MUM cos of her paranoia.

Then she will say she is being bullied and go cry to mommy. If U ever have the time Santa pull up her posts and go back as far U  like and U will see she has *issed off many on here.I dont let her get away with anything cos of her snake/rat instincts from over a yr ago.And 1 other thing she lies like a rug.

Santa, you are an idiot. I did not get an unemployment check. Do not know where you are getting your info.  Oh yeah your lying bf that touts stuff about me all the time. I never said I only go out for grocery shopping.  I thought you were "ignoring me" and did not see my comments. LOL  I WORK.  I have said repeatedly that MY JOB can not be done from home.  I go to work and I go to the store if I need something.  No, I don't go often, not that it is any of your business.  And no it is not because I am scared of some virus.  People are idiots and I prefer to not be around them. Funny the last line of your post you agree with what I have said more than once. A lot of people riding the unemployment big money checks are not trying to get a job because they get more money laying around on their getting fatter butt than they do working.
