I take medication to sleep but lately I am still not sleeping well. I think I need to change it up

My insomnia has been really bad this year with everything's going on. Yay for anxiety pills, but I still don't get enough sleep. :\

I used to sleep through the night with no issues....but lately, I've had some charlie horse issues.   Ouch!  Hopefully this doesn't become the new normal for me.

Sorry to hear as I struggled with insomnia periodically. I use zzzquil natural calm gel which helps with me. I also found breathing exercise before going to bed to be helpful at times. Exercising in the morning also helps in my case.

YEs, it is a pain.  My mom have suffered from Insomnia for years, about 12 years ago she had a mini stroke ant the doctor said that it was caused by not sleeping good.  She takes Melatonin and it helps a bit.  She also drinks tea for calming and help sleep but it is frustrating.

No, I have never had this issue.  I only wake up if it's hot in room but usually sleep all night even after taking a daily nap.  Hope you get some relief because being sleep deprived can't be fun.

I used to have insomnia but only have it rarely now. You could try taking melatonin for it. Some people think that works just fine. You could start out with a low dose, like 1 or 3 mg, to see if it works, and go up from there if you have to.

I'm fortunate since I don't have this problem in fact I think I sleep too much always at lest 7 or 8 hours a night and can always nap during the afternoon if I don't keep busy

It happens to me often. For months I woke up after about 4 hours of sleep. I was so tired all the time.

They work fairly well buy not always consistently.

Now, however, I just tried gummies from a marijuana shop.  No medical card, but supposedly recreational in gummy form and enough THC to relax you.  All I can say is I have taken it 4 nights out of 5.  It doesn't put me to sleep quickly but it puts me out soundly for about 5-6 hours when I do fall asleep.  I wake up a little groggy but it wears off after an hour or so.  I think I am going to be getting more!

My daughter, who has IBS, has found these gummies the answer to relaxation , sleep, and lessening the discomfort when she is suffering the IBS in the evening.  My son-in-law, who has some trouble sleeping through the night because he has a brain he can't "turn off' some times and becomes anxious as this goes on, finds these gummies the answer.

Oh wow! I would love to try THC gummies for my insomnia. I normally take Klonopin used for anxiety and that helps a lot. I normally sleep 6 hours and sometimes 7 hours of sleep a night. I'm up until 5am and I wake up at 2pm. Napping through the day some days.

I have that problem all the time. My DR gave me sleeping pills, but I have my 2 year old grand daughter most of the time so I don't like to take them.

Here's a hack I've been using:

Hold down your right nostril
breathe only out of your left nostril for at least a minute

Let me know if this works!

I have never ever ever had insomnia but I have it now with a vengeance - been getting worse and worse tonight was the pinnacle slept 1 1/2 hours and finally gave up and got up at 4:44.  I have always been a person who could sleep for hours on end so I don't know what happened.  Do any of you guys have this issue?

These are wonderful tips!

I have never had insomnia and I hope I never do. But here are some tips to help...

1 Wake up at the same time each day.
2 Eliminate alcohol and stimulants like nicotine and caffeine
3 Limit naps
4 Do not eat or drink right before going to bed
