I found that using it has no benefit other than anxiety and possibly connecting with long lost friends. Everytime when I run into someone that I haven't seen in a while they say "Where you been?" One person said they thought I fell off the face of the earth. If you don't have FB you're either dead or just unpopular meaning have no friends, or have something to hide. It seem that way to me.

I don’t use it a lot.  I usually use it to keep in touch with pictures with my brother in Florida and a girlfriend who lives in Greece.

I don't do it either. I have an account with my first name only and a handful of connections. I only made it to share a video with someone. Then I follow a few things locally just to be able to get info.  It is not on my phone so I have to log in on computer.  No, I don't have anything to hide. My life is not the world's business. My close friends or family know what is going on with me. Pretty sure 700 people do not need to know or even really care what I had for supper.   Most of it is just drama and I don't want to see it.

I used to use Facebook, but people are just too negative. I don't need any more of that in my life. I still have an account, but it's deactivated. I only log in a few times a year to look up info on local businesses and events, if I can't find it elsewhere. I've never been on any of the other social media sites.

Yes i agree o dont use Facebook it nothing but problems. I dont use it at all

i used facebook years ago.it became a way to waste  time. i would never trust them today for protecting my  profile info etc. FC is the most i do for social media.

I haven't logged into my account in ages and I have no plans of doing so.  At first it was O.K.to connect with relatives and old acquaintances. 

I find it easier to keep in touch either by phone, or on the Zoom app.

I use my FB account a lot less than I used.  I cut back because of all the political conversations that are hostile and mean-spirited. I just don't need that in my life.

I used Facebook a little bit when it first became popular, but then I got tired of it pretty quick. I guess I don't need to know what everyone is doing, even those I'm friends or family with, are doing all the time, and I'm pretty sure they're not that interested in every little thing I'm doing either. I guess it's because I'm from a different generation (Baby Boomer), and we tend to hold things closer (like what we're doing at any given time) closer to the vest.

Facebook is nice to keep in contact with family members who don't live close. I use it all the time.

Exactly. It's just too much for me. My life is peaceful and If I had an active account, my relationship would be in shambles. My boyfriend don't have one either, I only have one if my niece sends me a link to look at.
