That is really sad to see many businesses are permanently closed and never reopening.  Let's hope this does not get worse.

Even now, many remain closed because there are not enough funds to revive small businesses. This is normal, they need to open new ones that will be more relevant in 2021. I know that the risks are now increased and competition can close any business of a novice businessman, but no one forbids trying, right? If a person is left without means of subsistence, it is necessary to contact https://www.antonybatty.com. These guys helped my father, who was left insolvent, and now he is doing much better than during last summer. Try it too.

Since I stay  home, I really don't know what  has closed unless it is on the news.  That's a sad situation I know.  But I am elderly and don't want to take any risk.  :cat:

I am so sorry that so many stores have closed especially the mom and pop stores.  I will be so glad when things get back to normal, if that is possible.  So many good people have lost their jobs and are looking at huge debt with no way to pay.

It is sad because this didnt have to happen and now Biden will just make things worse. Trump opened the country back up.

Thanks for sharing. I haven't read this news and it was sad to read as small businesses are the foundation of our economy. I did notice some small businesses near me closing due to COVID. I was hoping the closing was more temporary, not permanent.

Many people and companies are suffering due to this virus and I hope and pray this will end soon and this is not the new normal.

Many small businesses did not survive all the lock downs and Covid 19 regulations.
Big businesses closed low performing locations.
Massive layoffs. Now all these former employees joined the lines of the unemployed.
It is really devastating for both businesses and the economy.
     It is a worldwide tragedy.

You really need to work on your hatred.  Keep believing the lies you are being spoon fed. It seems to be all that keeps you going.

In my area, many stores in the mall has closed. In addition, there are some small businesses that just could not survive. I wish their rents could be postponed during this time.

Life will never be like it was a year ago.  Once you lose freedoms you don't get them back.  People need to pick up a history book.  And realize that what it says is true.  And the media is lying to you.

The world can't just stop turning. I don't think rent should have been stopped for regular people. Most people did not miss any checks. They got unemployment and still get it.  And actually make MORE than when they were working.  People should have used stimulus checks for paying bills they owe instead of buying new iPads and phones. The landlords still had bills to pay.  The person(s) who owns that building the businesses are in still have to pay their bills.  Everything can't just be put on hold.  And this isn't going away. Just watch the news. Every day there are 10 new mutations. Go back in your home. Don't come out. Unless you work retail and then you are safe. ::)

My gym, which is not a small business per se as it's part of a national chain, just closed. It's sad as it's the only one near where I work which has a pool and is still affordable. I am hoping that it might reopen again after the pandemic if no other vendor leases the space.
