Surveys that lie about time
« on: August 29, 2020, 09:49:34 am »
You start a survey that said it would take 10 minutes but you open it up, answer a couple questions and then it says congratulations here's a survey that'll take 20 minutes. Do you continue or X it out?

Yes, that annoys heck out of me and seems so disrespectful! But it doesn't really matter that much to me, I guess, because I inevitably disqualify out within a minute or two and at least get my penny (Tap Surveys).  :peace:

Yeah that bugs me too.  Even worse is when it says 10 minutes but is more like 45 minutes.  They have no respect for our time.   :bad: >:(

Hate that. It is according to the amount of time that I have.  If my time is limited, I close out.  But then I love it when I am expecting to do 10 minutes but gets only 5 minutes.

It is annoying, usually I try to do it, my age disqualify me for a lot of them.

My limit with surveys is 15 minutes. I close out if longer.

You have hit on one of my pet peeves - they want us to be honest answering questions but they tell us they only need 10 minutes but it takes 20-25. I don't mind doing longer surveys as long as they are up front about it.

I also hate that.  Or when you finally get one that seems like it might be worth doing.  Start out good get to the last page and get told you didn't qualify.  After you just spent 15 or so minutes answering questions.

It depends. I try to do the shorter surveys that way if it doesn't credit I don't feel as bad about time being wasted.

NONE of the surveys take the amount of time they say.  If it says 10 minutes it usually takes 30 minutes at least. Yes it is annoying.  Esp with TAP where you spend half an hour doing a survey then get paid 11 cents.

Similar to some of the other posts, I also find TAP surveys to be quite reliable with their indicated time for surveys. I love that they give you a penny or so when you don't quality. Seems quite reasonable to me.

Hi!

Ya that is very annoying. You might have something to do so you pick this "short survey" which turns out to be 30 mins long. That's not right. A lot of things they do isn't right. Nevertheless we need the extra money.
