Yes, that is something about doing surveys that drives me nuts. I especially hate it when it says it is going to be 10 minutes and then you go into it and it says the survey is no longer available but it is being replaced by one that is twice or more as long.

I have noticed this a while back but the real problem for me is not being adequately compensated for the time. Not to say there aren't ever any surveys where one gets a decent amount of money for ones time but 40 cents for 10 minutes (really 20) is not worth it to begin with.

This is a problem because I continue on with them.  The thing that bothers me more is completing the entire thing and then being disqualified and getting only 1 cent.

I've found most of the survey times to be very inaccurate.  I'll continue if I have the time or close it if I don't.

It's usually less time for me then what they say.  I can answer those questions of age, year born, income, sch[ooling what else  sex, oh and race really fast.

It depends on my mood and time; sometimes I come on FC for just a quick couple of minutes and if I don't think I will have the time to complete then I just X it out; if I am on here with no time limits to do something else then my mood says what the heck and I just do.

I can to but that is one reason you get kicked out or not paid. If you answer the questions too quickly they say you are not reading them and just answering. Although the first 10 questions or so are the same and you know the answer. But sometimes if you slow down and really read it will have thrown in there in the paragraph that asks for your age - if you are paying attention do not answer this question.

That always frustrates me especially when it's a really low paying survey.

My limit with surveys is 15 minutes. I close out if longer.

Same here. I aim for 10 but will try a 15 if the prize is good.

I've only taken a risk on a really long survey a few times, because the payout was supposed to be multiple dollars, but I think every single time I have gotten scammed on those. Those always seem to do the thing where the survey seems to finish but instead of the "survey complete, here's your reward" screen, it just dumps you directly into the start of some other survey, and of course you DQ out of that one in two seconds and get 1c for 40 minutes of work. I've learned my lesson..

I most of the time continue; I figure I've already put in most of the time anyway.

I notice it, but sometimes the surveys are actually shorter than anticipated as well.

I never noticed that to be honest

Yes, that is frustrating.  I'll x out if the survey is longer then 20 minutes.

That happens a lot but it can go either way too so you never really know until you get started with it. I know what you mean, you think you are going to be done in 5 minutes and here you are 45 minutes later and still working on it.

It happens but it is annoying.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)
