A man was looking for a place to sit in a crowded university library.

He asked a girl: "Do you mind if Take the seat beside you?

The girl replied, in a loud voice, "No, I don't want to spend the night with you!"

All the people in the library stared at the man, who was deeply embarrassed and moved to another table.

After a couple of minutes, the girl walked quietly to the man's table and said with a laugh: "I study psychology, and I know what a man is thinking; I bet you felt embarrassed, right?"

The man responded in a loud voice: "$500 for one night? ..... I'm not paying that much"

All the people in the library looked at the girl in shock.

The man whispered to her: "I study law, and I know how to screw people".

I love it! Maybe now she'll think twice before she does that again but I doubt it. Closer to the truth? In terms of looking deeper at the reason as to why people do what they do? Is that to justify what she did because it's grounded on ignorance. She doesn't in fact know what a man is thinking and embarrassed him on an assumption.

I thought it was closer to the truth because in today's society all a woman has to do is make a claim, evidence and truth has nothing to do with it.

I agree with you oldbuddy.  Today all someone has to do is make a claim and bam, someone's reputation is ruined....whether the claim is actually true or not.
