Twitter and Facebook think that you don't deserve to hear this!!!

I posted a link yesterday in response to another thread about Joe Biden, but it was buried deep down in the thread and likely would not be seen by many since most people only read and respond to the initial post in any given thread...


That story yesterday involves Joe and Hunter Biden and their corruptive dealings with the Ukraine. The New York Post broke the story.


But the news has changed because Twitter and Facebook have been censoring and prohibiting the sharing of this news story on their platforms. The even blocked the New York Post from posting the story on its own social media feeds. Clearly a violation of free speech - trying to keep people from sharing this news in effort to suppress its dissemination.


Today, Twitter is also blocking a second story from the New York Post regarding Hunter Biden cashing in on a Chinese company. Both of these stories stem from Hunter Biden emails.


Because they cannot be shared on Twitter or Facebook, but still should be seen by the American voting public, I am sharing BOTH of those story links here. Feel free to read or ignore or dispute - I really don't care... but when big tech media is deciding for you whether you have access/exposure to the stories
that is a big problem!!!!!

I maintain it would be a step backward to elect a former VP to the office of President.  Beware!  Covid19 is a huge step backward for our economy and country.  Do not compound this error!

I read the story and was going to post it to FB when I saw that Twitter took down the story and blocked Kayleigh's personal account. Then I heard Kayleigh was banned for life from Twitter. I had heard rumors that Facebook and Twitter were starting to censor stories plus Google. but wasn't sure it was true. Now we know the truth. All 3 sites donated millions to Biden. BUT at least Google still allows some searches that aren't biased. Forget Bing. I tested them against Google. Bing is a joke. You'll never get the truth out of them.

But, Twitter's really getting a lot of flak and criticizing from the public and from Congress, especially from Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz. We shall see what happens. Censorship is just what the *bleep*'s did in WWII, also what China and Iran are doing today. This is not what America used to be all about and it has to be stopped before it goes too far. I believe this is why there is so much division in this country...and HBO is also part of the problem.

If we would just stop spewing out hatred & focus on real important things like finding a cure/vaccine for Covid-19 virus; we may have found a cure saving millions from death world wide by now!

Thanks for the link. It was interesting. But how does that prove your point that a former VP should not be elected to the office of President, or how it's a step backward?

If you believe that it does prove your point, please explain for those of us who do not get it, such as me. 

Don't get me wrong. I don't want Biden to be prez, but I'm unsure of what your point is about former VPs.

So i watched the case of the 5 boys convicted of raping the Central park Jogger back in 1989.

MY MY how Trump then pushed for the death penalty of 5 guys having their lives thrown down the toilet.

Such injustice back then and now sour grapes.If i remember the clown took out an ad RE the death penalty.

By the way....they were ALL innocent after years of injust jail sentences for them.

Maybe some should take an ad out on Trump how he rushed to judgement and was wrong and how he DIDNT MAGA as president....and he LOST for re-election.

Plus killed 1000s of his clan for setting an example of NOT wearing a mask when its a proven fact it helps save lives.....Just ask the TRUE God Jehovah.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R – SC) wants Section 230, Internet legislation which largely protects social media companies from lawsuits, to be repealed.

Graham tweeted, in part “Twitter may ban me for saying this but I willingly accept that fate: Your decision to ban President Trump is a serious mistake.”

Could this be an issue of free speech?

Upstate lawyer Steve Buckingham explained that the U.S. Constitution prohibits the government from abridging speech.

“It’s the government, at any level cannot a bridge freedom of speech; so when we’re talking about what actions may be abridgments to freedom of speech, fundamental question we have to ask ourselves is: ‘Is this government action?’ And if it’s not government action, question (of free speech) is over.”

Buckingham said, “The First Amendment begins and ends with what is and is not government action. And so in this case we have Twitter who is not a government actor saying to the president United States you can’t use our platform anymore again, it might be inconvenient; we might not like it; [but] the reality is Twitter thankfully is not the government. There is no First Amendment issue in regards to Twitter or any other social media platform telling anyone else, be they the president or someone like you or me, that we can’t use their platform.”

The first amendment is not the issue. Social media sites like Twitter & Facebook are shielded from responsibility for posts on their site by section 230 because they are supposed to act as a forum for open discourse. They are no longer acting in that capacity, so they should be held accountable like any other publisher. They actively choose what "truth" is allowed to be expressed on their platform, so they need to be held accountable just like a newspaper, magazine or news organization.

I have Twitter but I barely go there. I have not visited them for years!
