Baking
« on: December 19, 2020, 11:53:23 am »
Just finished baking, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, kiffles.  Tree is up, decorations are done, presents wrapped.  Can’t believe I’m ahead of the game this year.

Glad I don't have to do any of that.  I could care less about Xmas.

I still have divinity to make, waiting on the weather to change,  and some Red velvet cookies to make.

This past week I made fudge.  This week I will make peanut butter *bleep*, haystacks, and then on Christmas Eve I will make some things that will be for snacking on Christmas Eve.

I went ahead and took the Christmas presents that go somewhere else today because the weather is suppose to get bad tomorrow. I made fudge a couple days ago and sausage b-a-l-l-s.  And may make a different kind of fudge here in a little bit. My cousin sent me a pretty simple quick recipe. Still kicking around trying to make some peanut brittle. Not decided on that yet.  I can't believe Christmas is almost over :(

Peanut Butter WHAT ??  I can't think of what could have been bleeped out unless it was b-a-l-l-s. You know that horrible kid toy.

I’ve never made fudge. Sounds like a great idea.  I’ll have to google for some recipes.

I made Peanut Butter and Chocolate.  It is not hard at all.  Cleaning up takes longer than actually making it.

Wish I had the motivation to do anything for Christmas. I just want it to be over.  :( But good for you!

I do not get this attitude. I have worked retail before and remember angry people who came in spouting this. If you do not wish to celebrate then by all means don't. But why be a downer for the people who do celebrate the holidays? It is not everyone else's fault you are miserable.

All my Christmas baking is done and distributed to family and friends.  Not one cookie or candy remains.  And that is when I getting a sudden craving for all-things-sugar.
