That would be nice, but it looks as though they're gearing up for trouble.

This is so realistic, and if the guy thought this through he wouldn't be in jail.

On Friday evening, U.S. Capitol Police arrested a Virginia man as he attempted to pass through a police checkpoint in downtown D.C. with fake inaugural credentials, a loaded handgun and over 500 rounds of ammunition, according to a police report and a law enforcement source briefed on the situation.

The man, identified as Wesley Allen Beeler, pulled his pickup truck to a police checkpoint just north of the Capitol building, the source told CNN. Beeler, from Front Royal, Virginia, presented officers with what was described as an unauthorized inauguration credential.

When police asked Beeler if he was carrying any weapons, he told them he had a Glock semiautomatic pistol in the center armrest, the source said. The Glock was loaded with 17 rounds of ammunition and a round chamber ready to fire, according to the source.

Police recovered the pistol, as well as 509 rounds of ammunition, shotgun shells and a magazine for the handgun, according to an incident report from the Metropolitan Police Department. Beeler was arrested and charged with possession of an unregistered firearm and possession of unregistered ammunition.

I think it’s a shame.  It doesn’t matter if you voted for Trump or Biden, a new president is elected.  Please don’t start a hate or votes were stole thread.  The man won like it or not.  The world will be watching, can’t we please have a peaceful transition?

I actually feel bad for Biden because he's waited so long to be president that he doesn't get to have a normal inaguration but then when he was veep he actually had one but it's not the same as president.

I have never watched an inauguration before so whether it is online or in person doesn't matter to me, but I know that others do watch this.  I just hope that there is not any trouble.

Maybe. The media is the biggest problem. And contrary to what the media touts the trouble is not all coming from "Trump Supporters". The ones who stormed the Capital were not Trump Supporters. Some may have been, the ones that actually went inside the Capital when the doors were opened from the inside and they were invited in. Watch the video! The confrontations are coming from all sides.  I did see where several of the big cities including DC have suspended mail delivery for the next few days. People need to THINK about what that means.

The man did not win legally.  That has been proven. As far as a peaceful transition Trump has repeatedly said that will happen but the media can't let it go. And idiots posting online can't let it go. I am not sure why the "world" is supposedly watching what we are doing.  For the most part I do not really care what other counties are doing unless it is planning an attack on us. And get ready because that will start happening again.  The past 4 years with Trump in office everyone left us alone.

As far as Trump is concerned yes it will. The media will cause all the problems they can. If I were Trump I would probably leave a day early. Throw them off.  But I am sure they are already camped out with their cameras.

countrygirl12 you are as crazy as Trump.  It was only Trump supporters there, stop blaming others for people like you and Trump.  Blame the media, it is what it is Trump is a crazy man the worse President ever.  Also you did not complain when he won back in 2016, no one clam he did not win legally.  Biden did win legally and it has been
proven over and over again  Don't know why I waste my time , bye girl
