January Storm
« on: February 01, 2021, 03:22:12 pm »
We have 17 inches so far and it’s still snowing like crazy.  It’s suppose to snow until Tuesday afternoon.  We have been getting about 2 to 3 inches per hour.  We haven’t had a storm like this in a long time.

If you don't have to get out that is kind of fun. Long as you either keep power or at least have back up heat.

We are getting north of a foot in MA, it is snowing outside right now, will snow the whole night. Lots of shoveling to do tomorrow for sure.

Since we have a well I pray we don’t lose power.  A few years ago we lost it for 4 days, no heat, no lights, no stove, no water!  I kept telling my husband we need a generator and here we are years later and still no generator.  Think I’ll have to look at getting one myself.

We had snow here yesterday and were lucky as it all has melted.

We had about 15 inches in our area. That is the most we had in the past 5 years since coming back to the east coast.

Wow I can't even imagine because I have lived in central florida most all of my 67 years.  It is chilly here as well but nothing like you are experiencing.  Well stay warm as you can.  I did live in NC for two years many years ago and had experienced quite a bit of snow and cold.
