Get ready, set your clocks, go to Daylight Savings Time!!!  LOL

begins Sunday, March 14
(in 11 days)
ends Sunday, November 7

https://www.timeanddate.com/time/change/usa

DST in the United States begins each year on the second Sunday in March when clocks are set forward by 1 hour. They are turned back again to standard time on the first Sunday in November as DST ends.

What states follow daylight saving time?

Daylight saving time in the United States. Most areas of the United States observe daylight saving time (DST), the exceptions being Arizona (except for the Navajo, who do observe daylight saving time on tribal lands), Hawaii, and the overseas territories of American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico,.

“Spring forward, fall back” is one of the little sayings used to remember which way to set your watch. You set your clock forward one hour in the spring when DST starts (= lose 1 hour), and back one hour when DST ends in the fall (= regain 1 hour).

I wish they would leave it alone, but thanks for the reminder.

It would be great if the left it alone.  The changing back and forth is annoying.

I wish that they would just stick with standard time and stop messing everyone's sleep up.

I think the majority want it to stay one way or the other and that includes me.

I don't remember it coming up this early. It would be nice if they stop that because the earth naturally changes on its own. We naturally get more sunshine in the summer than in winter.

I heard this last night on Swagbucks trivia, and it had not been on my radar at all!  I was thrilled to know that the time has arrived.  I guess I was thinking it would happen in April.  It makes such a difference in the day! I love having daylight later!

Thanks for reminding us. The radio and television used to be good about letting us know, but we can't count on them as much now.  :bad:

You are a good doobie, Calendria.

Thank you for the reminder. I'm definitely not a fan of the time change.  Wish they would stop it all together.

I hate losing the hour in the spring but it is nice that the sun stays out longer due to it.....
