banana tree
« on: March 27, 2021, 12:35:33 pm »
I have two banana trees that we planted last summer.  It grew well and was very pretty, however, it  died back in the winter.  What do I have to do to revive it?

We had one where we used to live and it just came back on its own after it died out.  But again don't know much about banana trees other than that bit

Probably just normal maintenance...what was the winter like where you live?

I would suggest that you get a new banana sucker, and replant it...

Mine spread and come back every year.   It does not get warm enough for us to get fruit from.

I think once they are dead it would be hard to revive them - maybe pruning them or visiting a local garden store for some advice.

Thanks for the suggestions and advice.  I guess I will just leave it alone and let it do its thing.

I've never heard of anyone planting banana trees. You'll probably have to check Google for that answer.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)
