I wouldnt say i was a reg.Only been there twice and enjoyed our trip that revolved around playing golf.

Sorry some of your landmarks dont ring a bell.

The thing that impressed me most of OC is how it deserves its name. The Atlantic Ocean is quite impressive how it is AWESOME in appearance.

I say that cos i have seen how the Atlantic looks like from Atlantic City,NJ and for some reason the view of it from OC is just so much more breath-taking.

Well it's a big place with a lot of sights to see, so not a big surprise that my favorites are not on your radar. I think we've been there four times dating back to 2004 - twice when our older daughter was dancing, then had a gap of several years after one graduated and before the younger one got involved.

I agree on the impressive appearance. I live less than a mile from one of the Great Lakes - which is pretty great to see on a regular basis. But the ocean is so much more.

I was against it because I think it separated the federal govt from the state. I would have to listen to the folks for it to see why we might want it.

The murky Long Island Sound is our Eden, even tho right before i go to work if i am running early there is a dead-end street where you can park and view it and the serenity of it is still nice.I prefer cloudy days when its high tide,a breeze and the water is a little rough looking. And of course the temp is about 60 degrees.I dont like heat and humidity but also dont like snow and 20s.

Which Great Lake are you near? The thing i get with that is they look so much more impressive in person ill bet then on a map.Im sure its nice to view it so close by.Hopefully the water isnt too polluted like ours is here.

I remember going to The Bahamas in 1990 and couldnt believe how clean the water looked there.

Someday the air and water willl return to that when the planet is governed by God.I hope im around then.

That is not what the founding fathers had in mind. No statehood for DC

Lake Erie. It definitely looks impressive in person, it just pales in comparison to the ocean - but any body of water would. Pollution isn't bad, but we do get a lot of algae from the farm fertilizer runoffs.
