Sad Day
« on: May 07, 2021, 11:53:19 am »
Today we buried my cousin.  She was 64 years old and fought a very hard battle with leukemia.  She fought for 6 hard years, but I think she was just tired of fighting and the cancer won.  I will miss her so much, as the tears are falling as I write this.  There are only 23 months between her and my sister and they always looked so alike it was scary, same build, hair color, eye color and the faces were almost identical.  She left behind a husband, two daughters, and two grandchildren.  RIP Suzy I will never forget you.

Nancy i am so sorry for your loss with your loved one.

I think you know how i feel about death. It is clearly an enemy of mankind.

The bible holds out a hope we can beat death and also see our loved ones again that have passed. We all need to take in knowledge of God said Jesus cos it will mean our life and happiness.

So hard to lose people, Nancy5. I know you're grieving.

It helps to know that they're out of their misery, but the loss still hurts. Keep the faith.

We’re taking my late cousin’s 2 daughters and their family, her husband, and our immediate family out to dinner for Mother’s Day.  They wanted to come with us, and we decided before we go to the restaurant we are stopping to Suzy’s  grave.   Before we meet we are stopping for more flowers for her.

It is a hard thing you are going through.  But she will always be there in your heart.  I hope you are all able to share the good memories, even through the tears.  My condolences to you and your entire family.

Sorry  that you lost someone close.  Seems like cancer is still a killer for to many.  You can be healthy. Eat well ,not smoke or drink  and still get it.  Why don't they have a cure.   I know a few  who had it all died.  Then my aunt  who smoked till late 70s.  Never got it.

I am so sorry for your loss. My best friend passed away in 2010 from leukemia, I was so oblivious of the seriousness of the disease. She went to Germany for treatment and the treatment didn't work.
