Hurricane Elsa
« on: July 07, 2021, 08:23:49 am »
My brother went to Miami Law University many years ago, met a girl, settled in Miami and opened a practice.  He loves Florida but was tired of hurricanes hitting Miami.  Last year he and his wife (kids are out of house) moved to St. Petersburg (safer than Miami).  So one year later the hurricane is heading for Tampa/St Petersburg area.  I’m so scared for him.  Can some of you please pray it doesn’t hit land but if it does no lives lost and very little damage.  Thank you.

I have a BIL in Tampa area and his wife passed last yr and he is by himself. He also has had some health issues and we have preached to him to sell the house and move.He refuses. Will check on him a little later.

God told Adam after he sinned,"cursed would be the ground on his account".A reason besides mankind polluting the earth why these storms occur.

Stay safe Nancy and hope your family does as well.

Your prayers were answered, no real damage! and hit up around Gainesville missing Tampa-St Pete

Tropical Storm Elsa dumped rain across Florida's northern Gulf Coast early Wednesday but appears to have spared the state significant damage and widespread power outages

I have a step-daughter and her mother in Tampa and a cousin in Punta Gorda. I just emailed the cousin this morning but since he usually comes north in the summer, he might be here now.

You’re right.  I just talked to him. No major damage just some tree limbs down. Hope everyone in the path is safe too.

I am in North Carolina and right now it is pouring down rain and has been for several hours now.  I hope it goes through fast and this rain stops soon.

My son lived in St. Pete for 10 years and have many friends there thankful they did ok.  We only had rain as it came up the east coast over our area and I'm grateful for that.
