My best friend flaked on me!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that, my condolesces.

I'm sorry.  It is hard when you lose your best friend either from problems between you or in my case, my best friend died in a car crash.

She wouldn't have been my best friend, or friend of any kind, after the second time she flaked me with no explanation.

So my best friend who has been my best friend since 3rd grade had been acting differently lately. I had invited her to several events. Each time she would say she wants to come and then flake out on me and leave me hanging. I know she has someone new she is dating so I just decided to give her space. I gave myself space from her for a month until she eventually called me up and we went back to talking. Recently I have been having issues with my new phone. She came over to a cookout I invited her to claiming that I blocked her. I asked why would I invite you to my home and my cookout if I felt this way? She left saying she would return but she never did. She was quite rude to me after and told me I was better off blocking her. Well 28 years of friendship is over. I been having a horrible week. If you read my other posts you will know just what I mean.

Best friends have your back and don't treat you like that. 

Sorry, but if she feels that way maybe just give her some time to work out whatever it is that she is going through.  It's not your problem.

Any time they distance themselves over so many years is a sign a friendship has ended. You have to move on! They move on, you move on and survive! its as easy as that!
