Is anyone doing anything on this day to commemorate what it means?

I will be digging out from the snow, going to morning Mass and praying later today in adoration in front of the exposed Blessed Sacrament for peace and understanding between ALL races going in both directions.

I'm working.  I will try to be extra nice and helpful if I can.

Everything in our area was cancelled because of Covid.  It's also raining here today too.  So just getting caught up on household chores.  Staying in and staying dry and warm!

I appreciate the man and what he did and what he died for, but in all honesty, I never did anything special to commemorate the day, except appreciate the day off from work.  :peace:

I'm not sure what a person would do to commemorate the day.

The  one that deserves honor is in Rev 4:11 and why.

This is NO dis-respect to MLK or any man. Many may have had good intentions and were good people.Even an angel warned the apostle John NOT to bow down to him in Revelation.

Revelation 4:11

11 “You are worthy, Jehovah God
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
    and have their being.”
