Do you lie throughout a survey?
« on: October 09, 2021, 06:30:59 am »
Not simply the pre qualifying questions but maybe your doing a survey that deals with tobacco products for instance and you don't use tobacco at all, would you lie to qualify for that survey and throughout the entirety of the survey to get money? Or have you done anything like that? And, if so, do you do it frequently?
"Let me ask you something. If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?"

I've never understood why someone would risk the potential to earn dozens to hundreds of future survey dollars for the sake of earnings an extra 50¢ or whatever for a single tainted survey response. That is literally what you are doing when you intentionally lie to try to qualify for a survey.

Sometimes there aren't any answers that apply, so I was always taught to use the "closest" that resembles my true state, whether it's employment or food choices.  I always answer with the closest one to my situation.

No I try to answer each question as honestly as I can.  I guess that is why I don't qualify for a lot of surveys because they don't like my answers.

I try to stay honest, but sometimes if it's about a pet that I have had, but currently don't; I will answer as when I had it.  If that makes sense. I sometimes I click on the wrong answer and just keep going.

I always answer to the best of my ability - I do not like it when the survey time commitment is not accurate. That aggravates me.

I don't intentionally lie to finish a survey, but sometimes there's not always a "true" answer available. For example, I'm a vet tech, and when they ask which field I work in, I usually pick medical/healthcare. I mean, it's not wrong, but they are usually only considering humans not pets, and then I sometimes get DQ'd. But I don't know what other category veterinary services would fall under.  ???

No! Not ever, ever, ever. Never.  :angel11:

Dishonesty is a big ole sin, and it's a huge disservice to the people who create the surveys.
