Question ?
« on: October 27, 2021, 05:37:39 am »
When you go out to eat for breakfast and you have pancakes or french toast and bacon, do they put the bacon on a separate plate ?  My son and I was arguing about this this morning LOL

I would say some do and some don't. I don't particularly want my bacon to get soaked with syrup, but it doesn't bother me that much. You can ask to have your bacon plated separately if you have strong feelings about it.

It is my contention that if you're paying for the food, then you should ask for it how you want it. That is, of course, if you're being reasonable.

It seems like they usually come on the same plate.  But I had not really given it much thought.

For me its always been on the same plate unless if the breakfast is kinda supersized the place serves large portions than it be on a sperate plate. It differs from one food place to the next and what they do

Thanks everyone. My son likes his bacon on a separate plate. I asked him that when he goes out to eat do they separate your bacon and he said "Ma, you need to get out more they sure do" I always got mine on the same plate when I use to go out for breakfast. I was wondering if they changed ugh. I seem to be right on this one LOL, well, kinda sorta ...does your adult kids argue with you over little things, so annoying lol

They usually put it all on the same plate.  The only time maybe that I get a separate plate is when the plate isn't big enough to hold everything.

Some people do not like their food touching each other.  Some restaurants will do as you ask.

From my observations, usually the bacons are put on the side or in a side dish.

Never thought about it, but I guess it doesn't really matter to me either way.

Seems most places put bacon on a different plate.

I don't have a preference, but it usually comes on a separate plate at my few GO TO breakfast places.
