Have a good day !  Any parades?  Any celebrations?

What is the difference between Veterans Day, Memorial Day and Armed Forces Day?
https://news.yahoo.com/difference-between-veterans-day-memorial-101741345.html

Veterans Day/Armistice Day
The roots of Veterans Day date back to 1919 when President Woodrow Wilson issued a message to soldiers on the first anniversary of the date of the armistice between the Allies of World War I and Germany which took effect at 11 a.m. on the "eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" of 1918, according to the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs.

Also known as Poppy Day, this is a holiday that’s also observed on Nov. 11, but in British Commonwealth nations, such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and India.

Memorial Day
Originally known as Decoration Day, this holiday serves to mourn U.S. service members who died carrying out their duties.
Decoration Day was celebrated following the Civil War until, in 1971, it was turned into a general day of remembrance known now as Memorial Day.
This federal holiday is celebrated on the last Monday in May.

Armed Forces Day
This is an unofficial holiday observed on different days around the world. In the U.S., it is celebrated on the third Saturday in May and falls near the end of Armed Forces Week.
This holiday was first observed on May 20, 1950, to honor Americans currently serving in all branches of the military, according to a Department of Defense website dedicated to the day. It was intended to replace the separate days honoring each branch individually, but most service members still honor their own branch as well.

It's late but thank you to the vets.  My uncle died on 11/11/2011.  He was a very proud Army man.
