Daylight Savings Time 2nd Sunday in March

 :cat:

One more month till we "Spring" forward !   (next Leap Year is February 29, 2024)

Leap Days 2020 – 2032

2020   Saturday, Feb 29
2024   Thursday, Feb 29
2028   Tuesday, Feb 29
2032   Sunday, Feb 29

DST in the United States begins each year on the second Sunday in March when clocks are set forward by 1 hour. They are turned back again to standard time on the first Sunday in November as DST ends

begins Sunday, March 14  Spring Forward

ends Sunday, November 7  Fall Back

“Spring forward, fall back” is one of the little sayings used to remember which way to set your watch. You set your clock forward one hour in the spring when DST starts (= lose 1 hour), and back one hour when DST ends in the fall (= regain 1 hour).

You can tell because it is getting lighter in the evenings.  I noticed it last week.

I always get confused at when I should turn the clock forward or back, I have to look it up online all the time

I hate losing an hour of sleep, but it is worth it so it will not be so dark in the morning when I go to pick up my grandson to keep him while my daughter works.  Also have more light at night.
