I'm torn between getting a hardwired or wireless burglar alarm system for my house. Hardwired seems more reliable, but the installation looks like a nightmare. Wireless is easier to install, but I worry about hacking and battery life. What are the real pros and cons of each? Anyone have experience with either, especially in older houses with thick walls?

A lot of people consider the pros and cons of hardwired vs. wireless systems and there's not a correct answer for everyone. Wireless systems are easier to install, but you need to replace batteries regularly. Hardwired are more secure but more expensive. Search for professional alarm companies that install and maintain alarms. Consider searching for commercial security systems near me to ensure expertise.

It's funny how security technology is always playing catch-up with potential threats. As soon as systems become more sophisticated, so do the methods used to bypass them. I wonder if there will ever be a truly foolproof security system, or if it's just a never-ending arms race.
