Taxis are getting so expensive lately, especially with the constant traffic around Muroor and Electra Street. I’m thinking about switching to the bus for my daily commute to Al Reem. Does anyone here actually use the Hafilat system daily or is it just a massive headache?

The bus is a real lifesaver for your wallet if you're not in a rush. You should definitely
top up Hafilat card
online before even thinking about going to the bus stop. The machines at smaller stops are broken half the time, and trying to find one when you're late for work is a terrible feeling. Just top up the card, and you'll have enough for the whole week without any hassle.

Thanks, this is really helpful. Sounds like it’s actually worth giving the bus a try, especially with how expensive taxis have become lately. I don’t mind a bit of extra time if it saves money and avoids the stress of traffic.
