I am not trying to spam in any way and I understand why there is a nine post limit, but I was wondering if this limit ever gets lifted for users who have never purposefully abused the system. I have been a member of fusioncash for almost 3 months. Will I ever be able to freely reply to posts?
-
The nine post limit gets lifted after you pass "newbie" status. Then you can post to your heart's content!
-
I just passed from "Hero" status to "Elite"!
-
I'm glad it gets lifted, it gets annoying not being able to reply sometimes.
-
I was never awar of this 9 post limit, must be relatively new. Go figure.
-
I believe that the 9 post limit is relatively new and that it was put in place because some newbies were abusing the forum with excessive postings. Apparently, it does get lifted after a period of time. Myself, I have never had a problem because I post only once or twice a day.
-
I just started posting. I will probably post maybe 5 or 6 times a day.
-
Does anyone know how many posts it takes to get rid of newbie status? Has anyone made a thread on this?

Well we have to look at like this some one may in the past mess with the site and that's why I ca see they must had a lot of spam in the past.

when i was a newbie, i never knew about the 9 post limit. but i don't usually post that much everyday. i will post a couple of times a day. that's about it. i learn something new everyday with fusion cash and i've been on here for almost a year.
-
I sometimes go days without posting and other times I hit the limit, it just depends what topics catch my eye and whether I have anything to say.

I never had to deal with that. I don't know if that policy was around when I first started or not, but one of the greatest assets here is the $3 bonus for 30 posts a month. Gotta love it!
-
If there is a nine limit post how will I ever be able to get the 30 posts for the $3.00 promotion?

It's nine posts within a 24 hour time period. so you could easily do it in 4 days.
-
Never knew there was a limit. I've gone over that many times and still get credit every month.

The limit only applies to newbies once you pass that they remove the limit.
-
When I started there was no 9 post limit, but then there was no $3 bonus either. I just like the community and have fun here, so the $3 is truly a bonus.

The nine post limit gets lifted after you pass "newbie" status. Then you can post to your heart's content!
Thank you, that's definitely good to know. If no one minds me asking without reading all prior posts, how does one increase one's ranking/status? Do you post enough non-spam messages or complete enough surveys/offers or is it just something that changes with time?

I am not sure what you are asking, however if you are asking about how a person goes from a newbie to a jr. member and beyond, and increases their status I believe it's just by posting within what the forum rules dictate. If you follow the rules and stay within the 9 post limit until you are a jr. member you should be fine I believe. Your posting level (read the chart below for the levels) depends on how much you post, but the quality of your posts is up to you. There is karma or thanks system on this forum so rating the post quality isn't easy, (However you can rate threads, just not individual posts) but if you go outside the rules the Admin will like deal with that I'm sure with a ban or some kind of reprimand.
The rules are very simple. Here is a link to them and you can find them at the top of forums on the left: http://www.fusioncash.net/tos.php?forum

Thanks for providing the list. I learned something from it. Falcon9 you seem to very knowledgeable. By the way I have officially achieved my 50th post as of this writing and am now a jr. member! I don't know if I will ever reach the platinum level, but it's been great here on fusion cash!
EDIT: I think the 9 post per 24 hours rule is still in effect for people past newbie status. I just became a jr. member and again hit the limit for some reason even though it was said preivously that you could post as much as you wanted after you passed newbie status. ??? Or maybe it's just my account, I'm not sure. Does anyone else past newbie status have this problem? Please let me know if you do.
I know this rule in effect to cut down on problem posters, but for those of us who who want to post a lot on some days and reply to topics it is a problem as someone else said. :sad1: Hopefully something can be worked out in the future.

it would appear i have passed newbie i have posted 21 in 2 days thats good sometimes i just feel like talking away
-
Mstevenson, It would appear you are a full member. Look under your name - you have three stars.

Maybe we should round it off at 10 with:
Kryptonite Member------10--------10,000 or over!

I'm not sure that's any better than "Paladium member", (too superficially similar to platinum). Plus, it conveys an inherent flaw in 'super-members'. How about "Tin" membership; to remind members that it's just for number of posts and has minimal inherent value?
-
I quess they didn't want them to post alot right away!
-
Nine posts per day? Why would anyone do that when there is so much more you can do to make money on here. Oh well, to each his own :dontknow:

20,000+: Iron. Like a rusty old gate swinging in the wind.

I believe it's because fusion cash has such a vibrant forum that people enjoy it and and just want to participate. It's fun to post threads and reply to others (I am a member on a another forum aside from this one) and there is actually more to fusion cash than the money making aspect because of the activity of the forum. Some members will only post a little, some will post more often, but all in all it adds up to an active forum that make for interesting reading and participation. Hopefully this answers your question.

That appeals to my sense of humor too. Wouldn't at least one more membership level, ("Tin"?), between 4,001 & 19,999 be appropriate too?

I'll take that challenge!

i hit my limit of 9 post in a day as well.. my problem is that i was posting at night then logged in, in the morning and went over my limit.. now i cant even remember what i was going to post.. lol i think they are trying to prevent people from posting 30 at a time to get the posting bonus.. maybe still allow us to post only count 9 in a day to the bonus??

Not some, one so far and that was done by making over 4,000 posts in total.

I think that it is a limit so that the post continues to function daily. Many people would probably put jibberish or post continuously in one day. I think the idea is to get the users to frequent the forum.

I was simply tired of the mess during the last few days of every month, when newbies would spam 30 posts and submit for the bonus all in one day. Now you can't do much damage until you've been posting long enough to know better.
-
I was wondering myself about the the number of posts but it is a good rule. I had to make sure that I post and comment about each subject when I was going to school. This is keeping me in practice for when I go back for my BA. :angel11:
-
Wow I did not even realize that this discussion was still going on :o I am really flattered all of these people replied to made by me.
-
Good question.
-
I didn't know there was a limit either! I guess I never over did it then! ;D
