One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I never had to deal with that.  I don't know if that policy was around when I first started or not, but one of the greatest assets here is the $3 bonus for 30 posts a month.  Gotta love it!

If there is a nine limit post how will I ever be able to get the 30 posts for the $3.00 promotion?

It's nine posts within a 24 hour time period. so you could easily do it in 4 days.

Never knew there was a limit. I've gone over that many times and still get credit every month.

The limit only applies to newbies once you pass that they remove the limit.

When I started there was no 9 post limit, but then there was no $3 bonus either. I just like the community and have fun here, so the $3 is truly a bonus.

The nine post limit gets lifted after you pass "newbie" status. Then you can post to your heart's content!

Thank you, that's definitely good to know. If no one minds me asking without reading all prior posts, how does one increase one's ranking/status? Do you post enough non-spam messages or complete enough surveys/offers or is it just something that changes with time?

I am not sure what you are asking, however if you are asking about how a person goes from a newbie to a jr. member and beyond,  and increases their status I believe it's just by posting within what the forum rules dictate. If you follow the rules and stay within the 9 post limit until you are a jr. member you should be fine I believe. Your posting level (read the chart below for the levels) depends on how much you post, but the quality of your posts is up to you. There is karma or thanks system on this forum so rating the post quality isn't easy, (However you can rate threads, just not individual posts) but if you go outside the rules the Admin will like deal with that I'm sure with a ban or some kind of reprimand.

The rules are very simple. Here is a link to them and you can find them at the top of forums on the left: http://www.fusioncash.net/tos.php?forum

Here's the list of number of posts needed for each title:
Title---------------Stars---------------Posts
Newbie---------------1-----------------1-49
Jr Member------------2----------------50-99
Full Member-----------3---------------100-249
Sr Member------------4---------------250-499
Hero Member----------5---------------500-749
Elite Member----------6---------------750-999
Silver Member---------7--------------1000-1999
Gold Member----------8--------------2000-3999

Platinum Member---------9---------4000-?

Thanks for providing the list. I learned something from it. Falcon9 you seem to very knowledgeable. By the way I have officially achieved my 50th post as of this writing and am now a jr. member! I don't know if I will ever reach the platinum level, but it's been great here on fusion cash!

EDIT: I think the 9 post per 24 hours rule is still in effect for people past newbie status. I just became a jr. member and again hit the limit for some reason even though it was said preivously that you could post as much as you wanted after you passed newbie status.  ??? Or maybe it's just my account, I'm not sure. Does anyone else past newbie status have this problem? Please let me know if you do.

I know this rule in effect to cut down on problem posters, but for those of us who who want to post a lot on some days and reply to topics it is a problem as someone else said.  :sad1: Hopefully something can be worked out in the future.

Mstevenson, It would appear you are a full member.  Look under your name - you have three stars.

Maybe we should round it off at 10 with:

Kryptonite Member------10--------10,000 or over!

I'm not sure that's any better than "Paladium member", (too superficially similar to platinum).  Plus, it conveys an inherent flaw in 'super-members'.  How about "Tin" membership; to remind members that it's just for number of posts and has minimal inherent value?
