Please: You're on this forum probably to make the $3 a month - can you please just follow along with me and my questions? The more answers I get the better and I think you'll be really surprised with where these series of questions lead. What have you got to lose? If you want to skip everyone else's replies and just get to my questions, I'll be putting them in bold and large font.
Did you know Adolf Hitler sanctioned the murder of 11 million people during the Holocaust? He put Jews in concentration camps and brainwashed the whole German civilization. Today statues of Hitler are forbidden in Germany and his *bleep* salute is illegal. In Austria, if you deny that the Holocaust took place you’ll be thrown into jail. Germany has mandatory education for children about the Holocaust because it’s been widely said that those who forget history are destined to repeat it.
Question #1 of 11: Would you say Hitler was good or bad?
-
I can't even imagine why that question is being asked. Hitler was pure evil as is ISIS.
-
I was at the dentist about a month ago. An elderly couple was getting work done. The dentist asked the son (Who was in his 60's) how he could afford to pay for it. He had written a check out in full to the Dentist. He told him they were both concentration camp survivors (They were teenagers then). They were the only ones in each of their families to survive. They came to America, met and married here. As part of the punishement (? I am not sure what you call it) that Germany signed to end the war, they had to pay for all Medical, Dental, Eye doctor bills for camp survivors FOREVER. I don't know if they had other things they had to pay for them, but I thought it was interesting. This couple both in their 90's have to be some of the last survivors. They were 16 when the war ended.
-
Would you say Hitler was good or bad?
Of course Hitler was bad. He used millions of people as guinea pigs for sick experiments. He brainwashed all of Germany. He wanted a "pure" race, a "perfect" race, free of diseases and having blonde hair and blue eyes - yet, it's a little known fact, that Hitler himself may have had Parkinson's disease. He was a sick individual that almost got away with all he did to human beings.
It makes me wonder what's taking the WORLD so long to see that islam is doing the SAME THING, and why they're not doing more to put a stop to this sick cult.
-
I was born in 1942 and was about three when the war was over. My father fought in the war. He was not in Germany but in the Japanese part of the war. I have read that some small groups in Germany and groups in other parts of the world have come out in recent years denying that the Holocaust even happened. I can't understand why when there is so much evidence that it did. In fact, Germany filmed much of that evidence. There are films of some of the most hideous actions of German soldiers - people being herded into gas chambers and being shoved into long trenches and shot. Then dirt was pushed over them with some of them still living. Hitler was responsible for all this because he and his minions brainwashed the German people that this was what needed to be done for their country. So I ask YOU, was Hitler good or bad? He was not just bad - he was evil.
-
What exactly is the point of this thread? Do you really need to ask that question?
-
He's bad but comunists aren't as bad. Maybe having elections is a bad thing if people keep electing horrible leaders.
-
Is this what you're studying in school? It was a little before my time but they still teach history in school although I think some systems wish to wipe it out of the books. Make no mistake, it DID HAPPEN and the same sort of thing could certainly happen again if people allow it. Why in the world would you ask if Hitler was good or bad? Your question is just unbelievable.
-
I have to agree with everyone, Hitler was not bad, he was evil! Bad is robbing a bank, evil is killing thousands of people.
-
Stick with me, there is a point to all of this and I'll get to it eventually.
Question #2: It’s 1939 – you've got a high powered riffle and Hitler is in your sight – would you take him out?
-
Can I get one person to bear with me on this? They're really is a point, I promise.
-
OK, I'll bite. If I had a high-powered RIFLE and Hitler were in my sights, and knowing everything I know about him, yes, I would take him out.
-
Thank you, sir or ma'am - next question:
Question #3: It’s about 30 years earlier, Mrs. Hitler is pregnant with Adolf – would you take her out? Would you kill her to kill him?
-
Ok, i will bite....of course not. If she is pregnant with him, he is not born yet, so he has done nothing wrong, nor would anyone know what a evil man he would become.
-
If I were to go back in time knowing what I know now, I honestly don't know if I would kill her to kill him. On the one hand, it could potentially save millions of lives. On the other hand, there is absolutely no way of knowing what the consequences would be for changing the course of that many lives.
-
Okay, I'm going to skip some important history and get to another point of this topic (which, remember, has a conclusion) - I will give this skipped history to you eventually at the end of these series of questions, but right now I want to pick out a couple of facts to lead into the next question.
History tells us of one man who was present when the Nazis killed 1,600 Jews on April 6, 1942. He witnessed them being shot and then being buried alive.
It’s 1943 – a German officer points a machine gun at you and tells you to get into the bulldozer and drive it forward. You look in front of you and there’s a big pit – hundreds of Jewish families have been shot and they’re in the pit. Many of them are dead but some of them are still alive. He’s telling you to bury them alive. You know that if you say no, he’s going to say ‘okay’ and then shoot you with his machine gun and instead he’ll just take care of it himself.
Question #4: Would you do what he says?
-
Hitler wasn't just bad, he was evil through and through.
-
A few people resisted; I hope I would have been one of them.
-
only from the history books,,,, glad i didn't have to be a part of it. So very sad :(
-
No one answered my question, so I repeat:

-
Do you seriously expect people on a click to pay site to say, yes I would drive a bulldozer to cover up Jewish people who were still alive because I was ordered to do so by a *bleep* - if I lived in Germany during the Holocaust 70 years ago. LOL! Come on.
Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda
These hypothetical questions are as inane as asking if you could fly around the world like superman & reverse time would you? If you could go back & change your childhood would you? If you could stop the 9-11 bombers would you? YAWN
At this point, there is nothing you can do about it, but learn from it & move on. What will you do now is the point. How you treat others at this now & present time is what is important. IF you can tell the future, go buy a lottery ticket.
I live in Los Angeles, we have a Museum of Tolerance there, Hitler manipulated the masses through the media, similar to an extent what can be seen now. His SS guards wore uniforms with skull & crossbones; at the Museum of Tolerance you can walk through a tour & end up in a shower where people got gassed. It's thoroughly disgusting.
Just get to the point, whatever point you are trying to make.
-
I remember hearing stories with similar scenarios and they ended up killing the guy afterward, despite his compliance.
-
I can't get to the point without asking these questions, they are 100% necessary to get to the point.
-
If you do what he says, he IS going to let you live. If any of you would answer NO, my question is why not? The German soldier said if you didn't, he would, so they're going to die anyway.
Then again, if your answer is YES, what you're saying is you would kill those innocent Jews?
I just want to say that I know these are powerful, tough questions but I don't know any of you and will probably never see you in my life, and even if I do see you I wouldn't say, hey, there's that guy from fusion cash!
-
To your original question being raised Jewish yes I was taught about the holocaust. And it is a regular class that is taught to the older kids in Sunday school where they even have to do an essay on it at the end of the nine weeks or so. And any one who says it didn't happen is full of sh--!
-
Now, let’s say the soldier says, “You know what, I don’t want you to bury them alive. I just want you to finish them off” and he hands you his gun so you can shoot them. Question #5: Would you do what he says?
-
Would you?
-
Many people who LOVED Jehovah God died before they even worshipped Hitler.Jesus said you will find your soul if you lose it on my account.
Let us remember many biblical accounts of many who gave their lives for TRUE worship.
The greatest act of love is to give your life in behalf of someone said Jesus.
How each of us would act individually is hard to answer......in time i am sure we will all have to give an answer before God if we LOVE him as Jesus said that was the most important commandment.
-
NO, at least I hope not. I always get very upset just to accidentally kill an animal by hitting it with a car. Today I was trying desperately to get a lizard out of the house after the cat chased him and the lizard had to lose his tail - his survival mechanism. I finally was able to get him out. This is to say that I don't think I would have it in me. I don't think you stated whether this imaginary person was brainwashed.
-
Would you?
I wouldn't - I don't think it's okay to kill someone to save yourself.
-
At this point, there is nothing you can do about it, but learn from it & move on. What will you do now is the point. How you treat others at this now & present time is what is important.
How we treat others at this now & present time is where I will be taking this, but I have to ask these questions first to support my future argument! IT'S A SURPRISE!
-
For everyone participating in this, or wants to join now,
Question #6: Would you say that you value human life?
-
I guess I'll answer my own question to keep this thing rolling - yes, I value human life.
-
Yes, I value human life. I value any life.
-
Question #7: How do you feel about abortion?
-
Now we're getting to the point. I do not agree with abortion EXCEPT if the mother's life is in danger. I am someone who had difficulty becoming pregnant. I would have adopted a child even if it had physical disabilities. My daughter (fortunately I had a child after 12 years of marriage - and trying) also had the same problem for a different medical reason. She had a son after almost exactly the same amount of time. There are so many couples who desperately want children.
-
I don't think I would. If I knew what he was going to do, I would have someone keep a close eye on him. And prevent him from becoming a dictator and furthermore preventing the holocaust
-
Stick with me, there is a point to all of this and I'll get to it eventually.
Question #2: It’s 1939 – you've got a high powered riffle and Hitler is in your sight – would you take him out?
I don't know what I would do but as frustrated I get I might shoot! Just for having to hear him!
-

Thank you, sir or ma'am - next question:
Question #3: It’s about 30 years earlier, Mrs. Hitler is pregnant with Adolf – would you take her out? Would you kill her to kill him?
No she didn't cause that everyone makes there own way in life once they leave home, even if his parents abused him in some way I don't think that should be the excuse for him killing Millions of people. He just had a power trip and wanted to be worshiped like a god or something.
-
Question #8: When is it considered a baby in the womb?
-
At the time of conception.
-
Hitler was as bad and evil as they come and too often BARACK OBAMA seems more like him every day even though he has not gone to the "extremes" Hitler did YET!!!! There is nothing good about any person who would do such evil things as Hitler did to the millions of Jews. I'm sure he is burning in Hell where he belongs!!
-
What has Obama done that is even close to what Hitler did?
-
At 6 weeks and 6 days old you can clearly see the eyes, hands, AND heartbeat of a baby in the womb.
-
He was no Saint. Hitler was a very bad man to kill so many people because of hate.
-
Are we getting close to the surprise?
-

Finish this sentence: It is okay to kill a baby in the womb when ______.

Finish this sentence: It is okay to kill a baby in the womb when ______.
Never

I always hope at least 1 benefits from Gods word.So many claim to support.<sigh>
Deliberately to induce abortion or miscarriage by artificial means, by the use of drugs, or by medical operation, the sole purpose of which is to avoid the birth of an unwanted child, is an act of high crime in the sight of God. Life as a precious gift from God is sacred. Hence God’s law to Moses protected the life of an unborn baby against more than criminal abortion, for if in a fracas between men a pregnant woman suffered an accident fatal to her or the child, “then you must give soul for soul.” (Ex 21:22-25) Of course, before applying that penalty, the circumstances and degree of deliberateness were taken into consideration by the judges. (Compare Nu 35:22-24, 31.) But emphasizing the seriousness of any deliberate attempt to cause injury, Dr. J. Glenn comments: “The viable embryo in the uterus IS a human individual, and therefore destroying it, is a violation of the sixth commandment.”—The Bible and Modern Medicine, 1963, p. 176.
-
Never.
-
It is not right to kill a baby in the womb.
-
For those who are in doubt about when it's considered a baby in the womb, here's a scenario:
Question #9: I'm a construction worker and I see a building and I say to you, "I'm just gunna blow that building up in a minute. There's a possibility there's somebody in there, I just don't know but I'm going to blow it up anyway." What would you say to me?
I'm not sure if there's life in that building or not but I'm gunna blow it up anyway.
-
I would say "You are an idiot." (BTW, construction workers don't blow up buildings, demolition blasters do that.)
-
Of course hitler was bad... And who can forget what happened even if you weren't there
-
yes, I believe the holocaust happened & yes Hitler was a crazy sad evil cowardly *bleep* who murdered thousands & murdered his family &murderd his own beautiful innocent German shepherd dogs! >:(
-
Question #10: What justifies the killing of a baby in the womb?
-
There is no such thing today as a perfect pregnancy, for all humans are imperfect. (Rom. 5:12) Thus every pregnant woman faces a certain risk; the sad fact is that some women, even healthy women, die during pregnancy and childbirth. (Gen. 35:16-19) Is every pregnancy to be aborted just because a risk to the mother’s life or health exists? Obviously not. True, in some instances the danger is greater than normal because of the woman’s age or health. Still, do not most women, including many who face unusual risks, survive childbirth? And it must be admitted that however well meant it is, a medical diagnosis can be wrong. So how could one who accepts God’s view of the sacredness of life conclude that a potential danger would justify an abortion? Is the developing child’s life to be cut off simply because of what might occur?
-
For those of you who think, well, it’s not something someone should just do – they should really think about it before proceeding. That’s like, going back to the Jews, saying well I need to think about what I’m doing before proceeding to bury these Jews – after I think about it long enough, then I can bury them.
-
Hard questions, at least the last one is... could Hitler have changed, we don't know... hindsight is 20/20...
-
All good replies!
-
When are you going to post the point of the series of questions?
-
Well it was supposed to go from the Holocaust to abortion to something else - I guess it wasn't a great surprise? I just assumed no one saw that coming.
ANYWAY
Unborn babies killed in the American Holocaust in the first 37 years after Roe v Wade: 53,310,843
Adolf Hitler hated the 10 commandments and wanted to free people from them. He called the commandments the curse of Mount Sinai and said that the God of the Bible is a tyrant who tells us to do the things we don’t want to do. Clearly Hitler didn’t like the idea of ‘you shall not kill’ because it didn’t fit into his hate filled world view.
Although he is an extreme example, it’s common practice to have a low moral standard when we free ourselves from the 10 commandments or when we are unaware of their true meaning.
Question #11: What happens after someone dies, do you think there’s a heaven?
-
What Happens at Death?
Death is the opposite of life. Death is like a deep sleep. (John 11:11-14) The dead are unable to hear, see, speak, or think anything. (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10) False religion teaches that the dead go to a spirit world to live with their ancestors. That is not what the Bible teaches.
Those who have died cannot help us, and they cannot harm us. It is common for people to perform rituals and sacrifices that they believe will please those who have died. This is displeasing to God because it is based on one of Satan’s lies. It cannot please the dead either, since they are lifeless. We should not fear or worship the dead. We should worship only God.—Matthew 4:10.
The dead will live again. Jehovah will awaken the dead to life on a paradise earth. That time is yet future. (John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15) God can awaken those who have died just as surely as you can awaken a person from sleep.—Mark 5:22, 23, 41, 42.
The idea that we do not die is a lie spread by Satan the Devil. Satan and his demons make people think that spirits of the dead are alive and cause sickness and other problems. Satan deceives people, at times through dreams and visions. Jehovah condemns those who try to talk to the dead.—Deuteronomy 18:10-12.

In response to if i think there is a heaven.....
Definition: The dwelling place of Jehovah God and of faithful spirit creatures; a realm invisible to human eyes. The Bible also uses the term “heaven(s)” in a variety of other senses; for example: to represent God himself, his organization of faithful spirit creatures, a position of divine favor, the physical universe apart from the earth, the expanse surrounding planet Earth, human governments under Satan’s domination, and the righteous new heavenly government in which Jesus Christ with his joint heirs are empowered by Jehovah to rule.
