Do you use a dishwasher or do you prefer washing dishes by hand?
-
Use a dishwasher and save water.
-
i always had a dishwasher but to tell you the truth i never used it
-
I haven't had a dishwasher for about 20 years. At first I missed it a lot but now it really doesn't matter. At times I wish I had one but it is not something I long for. There are many other things I would rather have.
-
Both hand washing and dishwasher!
-
I loved my dishwasher but it is broke and I haven't gotten a new one yet and I miss it alot -- I don't mind washing by hand but I want a new dishwasher as soon as I can
-
Yes and I love it. I do wash bigger pots and pans by hand.
-
I do it by hand just like my family members but I do plan to buy one for my mom and dad.
-
I use the hand way. Had a machine but it rocketed the electric bill. If i do it every day not to much to do.
-
Yes I use a dishwasher it is me I am the dishwasher.
-
I like to use a dishwasher, but my husband likes to wash my hands.
-
We just purchased a new dishwasher after wearing the last one out. I cook and my husband does the dishes in our household. I do unload the dishwasher and put the dishes up. He has a tendency to not put dishes in the correct location if he unloads the dishwasher. Then I'm having to search for the dish I am wanting to use.
-
I use a dishwasher for glasses, dinnerware and silverware, but do all my pots and pans by hand. They take up too much space in the dishwasher and don't seem to get really clean in the dishwasher either so that's why I do them by hand.
-
I use a dishwasher, but my girlfriend doesn't like it when I call her that ;p
Seriously though, I do have a true dishwasher... I've found that putting in dirty dishes straight into the washer doesn't clean the dishes thoroughly; sometimes all that does is spread the food junk to other dishes that were fairly clean before being washed (eg food crumbs in the bottom corners of glasses). Thus I prefer to first wash the dishes by hand, and then use the dishwasher more to sanitize the dishes.

We do both in our house, but the dishwasher makes it so much more easy. We had an old portable dishwasher 10 years ago, but it was a very narrow kitchen and the dishwasher was always in the way with no place to move it, so we ended up ditching it to save space. We did sink washing exclusively for about 8 years, but when we got a chunk of money and decided to remodel the kitchen, we moved a few things around and worked in a built in dishwasher. That is so much easier and now we aren't losing any space for it!

we dont have a dishwasher..really no room for one..so hands it is....
-
I prefer to wash by hands but my husband said that used the dishwasher for convenient purpose.
-
No, I never owned a dishwasher in my life. I don't even know what to expect if I ever came across one.
-
I don't mind washing by hand. It is a time of peace for me. I get away from the TV. Hubby is hard of hearing and I sometimes need the space just to be quite. I used to have a dishwasher, but it seems like I was always getting ticked because he would not rise stuff off before putting them in. We did not have a garbage disposal hooked to it. I just knew sometime he would plug up. So peace of mind is great for me.
-
We mostly use our dishwasher because we're lazy lol. But if there's still a pile of dishes in the sink, we'll wash them by hand (or wait for the dishwasher to finish) :)
-
I haven't had a dishwasher in so many years I can't even remember what it is like to have one. But I honestly don't miss having one. What is the point in having to rinse or wash them first before putting them in the dishwasher. And then so often they come out dirty. Washing them by hand makes me feel like I know they are clean.
-
I have one that came with our house. I used it once.
-
I do...we have 7 in our family. It saves a lot of time!
-
I have gone without one and used one. It is nice to hand wash though, except when it is really funky dishes. You can burn extra calories hand washing them.
-
I use a dishwasher, just got a new one a few days ago. I rinse the dishes and put them in all day, it is usually 2 days before we run it. If they are rinsed right away no food seems to ever stay on them. I like that they get sanitized especially when anyone is sick.
-
Dishwashers are cheaper than washing dishes by hand, but you don't burn as many calories by washing dishes with a dishwasher.
-
no
-
I have used a dishwasher all the times in the past, until mind broke and I am the dishwasher.
-
No, I still wash dishes by hand.
-
I do both, I'll load the dishwasher and then the plastic Tupperware that can't be put in the dishwasher I wash by hand.
-
I use a dishwasher when I have a lot of dishes otherwise I just wash them as I use them
-
Dishwasher for most items, hand wash if it can't be in there.
-
Oh,yes I use the dishwasher and like the way the dishes come out
-
I hated my dishwasher. If I have to rinse them all anyway I might as well just wash them!
-
No when I moved to my new house it didn't have one, so we have been washing dishes by hand.
-
I prefer washing dishes by hand then using a dishwasher
-
I always have one but never use it- I have kids lol
-
I wish I had one. I broke my shoulder last year and can hardly use my arm any more. :)
-
i like using our dishwasher. Unfortunately, it has decided to stop working correctly, so we are doing dishes by hand.
-
I would love to have a dishwasher. One of the things I hate is seeing dirty dishes accumulate in the sink. At least with a dishwasher you can stash the yuck in there until your ready to do an entire load. Ha...light bulb. Decorative vented covers to place over your sink to hide mess. Also serves as a? Well cutting boards are designed like that but they are to low... so hmmm. What else could that be?
-
Yes. I love my dishwasher. One of my pet peeves is dirty dishes in the sink. With the dishwasher you can load the dirty dishes until you have a full load and no dishes in the sink.
-
I prefer to wash dishes by hand. Always have. ;)
