Title: Do you have a big or small family?

i only have 2 children myself. dont know how they raised 8 of us. cant do that in this day and age.

Post by: cowgirlx on September 23, 2009, 09:51:33 am: medium I have 4 kids. hubby has 2. So not tooo bad. My sister has 5 and I wouldn't be surprised if she had more. I persoally was done with 4, but there is always more love to give to new family members.

Post by: Freeman352 on September 24, 2009, 10:31:54 am: i have a really small family. its just me, my husband, and my daughter...the only extended family we have is my husband's dad's family. he just found his dad in january after 30 years, and they seem like good people we are going to meet them soon. its not a good idea for me to have more kids due to health reasons, and also i figure more kids would just take away from the time and resources i can give to my daughter. the rest of our extended relatives is huge in numbers, but none of them are very good people. my policy is, if you treat us like crap, we dont speak to you. family or not.

My oldest daughter doesn't want kids and my oldest niece and her husband have no children or plans for any at this time. It seems our family had a 3 kid thing going for a while but now no one wants kids LOL!

I always knew I wanted to have lots of kids!! I am very blessed with 6 children :) 3 boys and 3 girls I wanted 4 more but my husband thought it was best to stop. I love every minuet of my life, good and bad. Wouldn't change a single thing.

So i guess my immediate family is medium and combined for like holidays a big family. I Have always been apart of a pretty big family but i kinda like it

Post by: aswise on September 30, 2009, 01:21:40 pm: I grew up with two parents and a sister, but now that my sister's married into a family of five with a very close-knit extended family, it feels like I've got tons of new cousins! I've got lots of relatives in my own family, but we're not very close (emotionally or geographically), so it's nice to have gained some "extra family" recently.

Post by: Longoria11 on September 06, 2010, 08:18:43 am: MY grandma (dads mom) had 7 kids and grand kids.. man i've lost count! and my other Grandma (moms mom) had 4 kids and again grandkids i've lost count LOL so i have a very big party!!! i had my 15th birthday and in tradition i had a quincenera and i couldnt invite many frinds because my FAMILY took up most of the room in the hall!!! :(

Post by: Angelbot on September 06, 2010, 08:24:38 pm: right at the moment its just my husband and i... he comes from a very small family.. 6 people all togther (his mom,dad 1 set of grandparents and 1 aunt and uncle) Me on the other hand... i come from a much larger family... my mom and dad and 1 sister, and 3 aunts and uncles, 20+cousins and 1 niece.... that doesnt count the friends of the family that we concider family... so basically i came from a 40+family to a famil of 6.. HUGE difference... i like the big family better :D ha ha MUCH more fun! :D ha ha
