Payments / Re: Do you have a job?
« on: August 18, 2011, 09:55:19 am »Message ID: 403730
I have to say I am TRULY blessed!!

Fulltime, have been at the same job for the past 13 years. Have never not had a job, working for the past 21 years. The only time I did not work was to give birth to 2 kids. I'm in good health (at least I think I am). School parttime online, both kids play soccer and between the 2 of them are on the soccer field 6 out of the 7 days a week so that keeps me busy, volunteer at church teaching 2-5th grade kids and team manager for my sons soccer team. My 16yo son just got his first job at Publix working parttime. It's HARD to get a job especially w/no work experience so I was glad he got the call. I come on FC because I enjoy it and it never hurts to make a little extra cash. Helps with gas and/or groceries.

Wow! $20/month? I guess it depends on where you live, I was happy to go down to $150/month.

I haven't seen ONE business, online or not that doesn't have bad reviews. Every business will have someone who has negative things to say about it.

"Two people in a nice truck" should've been your red flag. Why didn't you buy it from a store or online?

Go Dunkin for the best iced coffee ever! I'm really not fond of Starbucks, it's overpriced and tastes kinda burnt to me. McDonalds is def the next runner up!

I've heard people say Starbucks taste burnt and it seems like it makes a difference which Starbucks I go to. Some taste burnt and some don't. Dunkin donuts iced coffee I've tried drinking and it tastes like straight water  :angry7:

Another one I'd like to see maybe changed in the future is where the daily cash emails are available to us not only on the days that they are sent. Sometimes the emails come in and I may not be able to get to email everyday, if I'm on vacation etc.. I can't go back and do them  :-[

Debate & Discuss / Re: Cashing Out
« on: July 27, 2011, 07:33:52 am »Message ID: 391645
I have a question about cashing out. I cashed out around 7/20/11 & waiting on my payment to come 8/20/11. Currently it's set up as direct deposit. If I change that to getting a mailed check during the "pending cashout" will it change and mail me a check or is it whatever the option was at the time I cashed out?

I have not read through all of the posts here and I enjoy everything about FC. If I had to pick ONE complaint, the only one would be waiting so long to receive the cashout. It only gets paid out once a month. One payout every 2 weeks like a paycheck would be nice  ;D but like others have said, this does in no way replace a parttime or fulltime job. It should be extra money that's not NEEDED but WANTED.

Offers / Re: Have you ever been on a cruise? It's cheaper than you think! : )
« on: July 26, 2011, 04:40:18 pm »Message ID: 391400
A lot of things factor in the cost of a cruise. Me personally, to go on a 3 day cruise from Miami to the Bahamas for $700 is expensive. It might be worth it from other states, not sure. The time of year you go, the cruise line, the amount of people, what type of cabin you want etc... My family and I try to go at least once a year. I like Carnival, you get the most bang for your buck. This past Spring Break it was 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids) that went on a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise for $700/each. Don't think I'll ever go Spring Break time again, too many drunk college students  ::)

Off-Topic / Re: Any exciting weekend plans?

After work today I'm going to p/u my daughter from the babysitter then p/u my friends laptop and finish some work for him for his job since he's going out of town.

Tomorrow (Saturday)
9:00am daughters soccer practice
12-2:00pm sons soccer game
2-4:00pm sons second soccer game
2:00pm going w/my daughter to a friends bday party and missing sons 2nd game
6:00pm church
8:00pm p/u my brother from work and take him home

Sunday
8-1:00pm volunteer at church for the morning services

Come home, flop down on my bed and hope no one calls my name or says "mommy" for the rest of the day

Enjoy every minute of it.  Kids don't stay kids very long.  They like to grow up too quickly!

I agree and don't mind doing it for them, although it's exhausting I'm thankful they're out playing a sport and not stuck in the house gaining weight. That schedule is actually a typical weekend for me.

Off-Topic / Re: Couponing

I just think about the gas spent for the trips, some of the families on the extreme couponing show keep a deep freezer in their house to store extra frozen items which means a higher electricity bill.

Starbucks has the best flavored coffee EVAR! I love the white chocolate mocha and the pumpkin spice around the holidays when they have it.

McDonalds $1.00 Vanilla Ice Coffee is the best!

Depends on if I want hot or iced, depends on where I go.

Off-Topic / Re: How Much are you paying for your cell phone service? Is it too much?

Two phone on Metro PCS unlimited everything including taxes is $100.00. I pay $55/month for the Blackberry Curve and $45/month for an LG Android phone. Yes it is worth every penny.
