Off-Topic / Re: So wrong of them!!!!!

This happens to me so much, I go on like a wild goose chase for like 15 minutes only to be hit with the DQ.  I only do survery once in a while when I don't mind wasting some time, but otherwise I stick to more quick things like the videos or tasks.  Might just be because I was instant satisifaction, but it's annoying to spend 15 minutes doing something only to have it turn out bad.

I did not know this was National Frog month.  That's interesting.  Wonder if it was a conservation type of thing when it was set up.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you have a bicycle?
« on: April 19, 2018, 11:10:16 am »Message ID: 1210353
I do have a bicycle, but I'm horrible at using it.  During the summer I try to use it to get myself and my dog exercise, but we discovered that she has problems with her hips, which means she shouldn't do long exercise routines.  Unfortunately, I don't want to go on a 5 minute bike ride, so things get very frustrating.

One of these days I hope I can find a thing I can pull behind my bike so that when she gets tired she can sit in it and I can finish my ride so hopefully we can get our exercise in without so much stress.

Nope, don't remember that.  Someone talks about how when they lived in the UK they would do that for a pound, and some of the clerks didn't want to count out the 100 pieces of candy, so they would just throw some in a bag for you, and he'd go home and count to see what kind of profit he made.  Sometimes he got something like 400 pieces of candy for the cost of 100.

Off-Topic / Re: Uh do you ever get stuck in the bathroom without TP

Not in my house.  We buy ours are Costco and get huge packs of them, putting the smaller packs in each bathroom and refilling it every weekend.  Really nice system cause occasionally we'll have an extra roll when we restock, but that helps for those moments when sometimes you just need a few more sheets than normal.

The problem is there is really no reason to go to a store now.  I can literally order everything from my computer and have it delivered to me.  There's no need to go to a store to see the item that I want or see what other things are out there.  When I was little my parents bought me something that I already owned, so they took me to the store, let me return it, and then let me pick what I wanted to replace it.  Most kids nowadays don't get to do this, which is unfortunate because so many new products aren't discovered because they aren't advertised during the kids shows.

Depends on the meme.  I'm all for making jokes to lighten the situation, but some times they just aren't funny to me so I don't get them.  My sister and I constantly send cute dog videos to each other or funny things we find on the internet, so I'm all for funny things, so long as it isn't making fun of people or hurting others.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you buy/read newspapers?

I don't read the newspaper, but I think we are still receiving one.  In the age of the internet, everything is already available, it just about finding it.  There's so much stuff out there to read already that a newspaper would just be one more thing I'd probably forget about.

People are so unbalanced.  Why can no one accept rejection any more?  It's not that hard being alone.  Just find friends and enjoy your life.  Eventually someone will find their way into your life and they will want to be with you.  But I'm pretty sure if you tell your next girlfriend "I shot the last girl who rejected me," you aren't going to have many girlfriends.

No, I'm not.  And I wouldn't because then people would want proof.  I'd rather just be a secret ninja and surprise all the people with my amazing abilities.

How did the child get ahold of a gun, let alone one that was probably loaded already, since I doubt the child loaded the gun.  This is just the parents being bad about keeping their guns locked up.  A child is going to mimic whatever they see.  If their parents are watching cop shows, the child probably saw how you point a gun at a bad guy and went with it.  I doubt this is any indication of future issues, unless the parents continue to be bad about keeping their guns locked up.

Off-Topic / Re: Dollar a day on here without surveys?

I would assume it's possible with the tasks.  I personally do PTC (0.15), daily email (0.02), and videos (varies, but generally I earn 0.05 to 0.20 a day), and the rest could be done through tasks.  The tasks aren't that hard in themselves and once you get in the habit of doing them, it becomes very easy to just forget what you are doing and do them forever.

Weather is fun.  I'm in Michigan where if can be like snowing in the middle of the day and then raining at night.  It's entertaining to watch the weatherman try their best to guess what the weather is going to be and immediately know it's probably going to be wrong.  Occasionally they get it right, but so many times I wonder why they can't get the weather right.

My easters were always fun.  When we were young it was the traditional my parents hid stuff around the house.  When we got old, my mom made up like a scavenger hunt thing for us, so we had to think to find our treats.  It was a nice switch from the traditional "find the egg hidden slightly behind the table leg" hunts.

I just don't go to those pages.  If it bothers you, just don't visit them.  I literally view the horoscope, comic, weather, and sudoku or entertainment ones every day.  Why make yourself uncomfortable if you don't have to.
