Now I am confused. I thought I had 6 months to check out before my money starts to expire? I have to check out by the end of this month or I start losing money? I'm not really worried about when I get the check, I'd be fine checking out in Oct. and getting my check sometime in Nov. I just don't want to lose any money!

No, FC members have until the last day of a month, (prior to midnight, PST), to cash out for potential payment on the 20th of the following month.  That is, cash out requests made prior to midnight on September 30th will be processed for payment by October 20th.

So since today is the 20th and I've missed this months cash out I can wait a little while and build up my money some more and have a bigger check and not worry about anything expiring? That's my biggest worry! lol.

FusionCash / Re: Who on Fusioncash work on the daily tasks page?

I actually love the daily tasks! I always do the ones where you rate the pictures (there is one for R rated and one for G rating) and they let you do them several times which is awesome since they are only like .2 and .3 cents each! Then tonight I did several .12 and.17 cent ones that were really easy! Then there are some that are a little harder than what I like, and not that much so I usually skip those. My least favorite is the ones where you have to look at the CD covers and record information about them. I don't have a enough patience to do all they ask, and for only a few cents.

I am fully aware of this! Which is why I made sure to mention that I was just venting out of frustration! I have every right to do so!

-repost:

FusionCash is not like a restaurant; our paying customers aren't you members but rather the advertisers and survey providers.  Members like yourself are independent contractors, and you get paid rather than paying us (like you do with most businesses).

We work hard to balance the needs of our members (without whom there wouldn't be a site) and our advertisers (without whom we couldn't keep the lights on).  This means a number of compromises: we have to limit the amount of bonuses we issue (we don't earn anything from it being your birthday... not to mention that with 2.3 million members we'd be issuing approximately 6000 birthday bonuses per day on average... not to FURTHER mention that if there was a birthday bonus, people might tell their referrals to choose a fake birthdate which is coming up soon so that they can get an additional bonus [and an incentive to falsify information is bad]).

As for survey qualification, it's a complex issue:
1) Surveys are often routed through two or more survey systems, and they rarely share information: so you may have to "qualify" for a survey multiple times.
2) Surveys are typically targeted at one demographic "slice", for example "males in the midwest".  Once the quota of "males in the midwest" is full, you wont qualify anymore.  You may see other people being credited for the same survey, because they're in a different 'slice'.
3) Since your qualification depends on your demographics (which you can't control) different members have different experiences with surveys.  For some, who are among rarer demographics, they almost always click through, qualify and get credited.  For others, among more common demographics, they have more difficulties qualifying.

To belabor the restaurant metaphor, a survey provider might "order" 200 survey completions from "males in the midwest".  If we delivered them "females in new york" instead, they'd rightfully be dissatisfied; like getting fish 'n chips when you ordered a steak.  This is why taking surveys can be frustrating, inconsistent work.  If there was a way to improve it, we would, but you can't really tell a multi-billion dollar multinational research firm that their survey platform "needs to be fixed"...

Offers / Frustrated!
« on: September 17, 2012, 06:29:08 am »Message ID: 606061
I just spent 20 minutes answering questions about movies for a survey for them to then say I qualify for a survey about heartburn medication! I then spent another 20 minutes answering questions about all different types of Heartburn medications, filling in blanks, marking little dots for them to tell me that I do not qualify for the survey  ??? ??? That is so frustrating   :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: REALLY? I think all the questions I've answered should count for something!! No instead I wasted almost an hour of my time for NOTHING  >:( >:( >:( Those survey sites that do that should be ashamed of themselves  :angry7: :angry7:

Sorry just venting! I just wasted a lot of time for a .90 cents and basically took two different surveys in one and still got rejected!

I actually do these as much as I can because they are easy! I wish they were worth more but hey I'll take what I get! I do wish that the ones marked for .50 cents were actually .50 cents instead of a 1/2 cent  because I really enjoy doing them.

FusionCash / Re: It pays to check FC more than once a day!

I try to log in several times a day and check for videos and new tasks since that's where I seem to have the best luck making money :) It pays off that's for sure! I'm getting closer to my first check in, or out? lol. I'm still a newbie I may not have sayings down yet.

FusionCash / Re: SSI Survey

I just tried it and my virus software blocked it, but I told it to ignore it and go to the site. It then lead me to a completely different website that has nothing to do with SSI, something about Ohio voting, and walmart gift cards! So of course I closed it out!

Actually this has happened a few times today. It's getting annoying.

I'm single never married, low income and have no children I hardly ever qualify for survey's! Which is no fun for me. I spend a lot of time doing "tasks" which doesn't give me a lot of money in the long run.
