I don't drink coffee but my hubby likes either Hardee's, Burger King or McDonald's.

Off-Topic / Re: school lunch vs pack lunch

I used to be for school lunches when my daughter was in school but in this day and time I probably would choose a sack lunch since a lot of places the schools cook the meals in one area and then deliver them to the other schools.

I used to be afraid of change but not anymore. I embrace it and enjoy it.

We have Crepe Myrtle Trees, Azaleas, monkey grass, hydrangeas and some ground covering but not many flowers that bloom since they trigger mine and my daughter's allergies.

I'll go later this evening. Our grocery store offers a discount for the seniors on Wed. Lucky for us that my hubby is considered a senior even though he's only 61.

I'm sorry for your loss. I would be the same way. My male and female kitty feel like my babies just as much as my daughter does. I guess the longer you have them the more attached you become to them.

Off-Topic / Re: How often do you talk to your Parents?
« on: July 28, 2013, 04:28:26 pm »Message ID: 771820
Unfortunately I don't get to talk to my parents. My dad died when I was 5 years old with Lung Cancer and my mom has been gone for 16 years. I was close to my mom and miss her dearly. When my dad was living we were close and I'm sure if he had lived we would have had a good relationship.

I haven't been to an amusement park since I was a teenager and it was Opryland and Six Flags over Georgia.
I live in east tn close to Dollywood and haven't even been there.

Sometimes it's hard to be positive all the time especially when you are around people that are constantly in a negative mood. Generally I stay positive and try to turn their attitude around until their in a positive mood.

I don't watch much television so I don't know if the commercials are getting longer or not but I would say that more than likely it's to pay for the programming.

Off-Topic / Re: Are ear infections contagious?

No I don't believe so. The ear infection could be triggered by a sinus infection also. My neighbor's grandson had an eye infection last week and found out that it was caused by a sinus infection.

East Tennessee here and we've had a lot of rain as well. But, I'm not complaining since it's been so hot and humid this summer.

Mostly just dinner out. Sometimes we might go to a movie or bowling every great once in awhile. It's just as nice to stay home and watch a movie on television. Everything is so expensive now days.
