Did you know--cloves nutrients and health benefits
« on: April 22, 2010, 06:20:48 am »
Clove is a nutrient dense spice.  Two teaspoons of this spice contains an excellent source of manganese, very good source of dietary fiber, vitamin c, and omega-3 fatty acid.  It is also a good source of calcium and magnesium.  Cloves also have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.  Each morning I add about 1/4 of a tsp of ground cloves to my coffee grinds when I make a pot of coffee, just to get an additional boost of this spice nutrients.

In the past I have used clove oil for toothache pain, it will numb the area so that you can get some relief for awhile, if you have a toothache then remember to try this remedy, it works.
