While you are indulging their desires who is attending to your needs. No one of decency would put that kind of pressure on their family or their friends. In the past I was always trying to please everyone.  Going out of my way to do things, etc..  It got to the point where nobody appreciated anything I was doing.  So I finally decided to quit trying!  There is no way possible that you can please everyone!  I do what I can do and thats it!!!!!

I try to please everyone else but it does not work.  I work at a retail store and I try to please the customers.  And my kids, I try to please but they are all grown up and they have their own life.  You can not please everyone, so don;t even try.  You will be able too.  Just make sure you have a life you can enjoy and be true to yourself. yes, all my life I have tried to please everyone but realize I please no one for very long.  I have come to realize I only need to please God.
