I’m fixing up an old Surface-style tablet to take on trips, but it’s unactivated and sluggish. I want to try a KMS activator for Windows 10, but I’m worried about performance hits. Does KMS Pico slow down smaller systems? Or is KMS Auto more resource-friendly? Looking for low-impact solutions.

I upgraded to Windows 11 recently using the media tool, and everything seemed fine until that unexpected “Activate Windows” watermark showed up in the corner. I had never dealt with activation issues before, so it caught me off guard. Instead of digging through old keys or dealing with Microsoft support, I tried kms full. It handled the activation quickly and without breaking anything else on the system. Updates still work, settings remained untouched, and the watermark vanished the moment it finished. Haven’t had to mess with it again since.
