I've noticed that a lot of stores offer lay-away again. It was pretty standard when I was growing up and almost everyone took advantage of it. Of course, that was BCC-before credit cards. Now in a bad economy it has been revived. Do you use lay-away, would you? Why or why not?

Even before layaway, it was, "Cash On The Barrel-head" and I still think that's a good idea. What happens when you put money on a layaway and never get the rest?

I like lay-away but as far as I know we don't have 2 stores where I live at.

i like layaways it give you a chance to get somethings that you come not pay for right away.

Layaway is wonderful for those of us who do not have the money to buy everything we want right at the being. I hope our stores here start it again.

kmart is the only place around here that has lay away anymore....i don't use it i just use credit and pay for it all year...

and then wonder why i did it!!!
