I can't express how important it is to protect healthy strays from being euthanized.It's a tragedy that should be put to an end.

Stray cats can certainly be a problem. That's why there is so much promotion to spay and neuter them. I would contact animal control. Hopefully they will help.

i cats even stray ones come up to me just to bad i can't keep them yet till i have my own place (not alot of cats but about 3 im not a horder + it'll be to expensive to keep alot). Even my brother says that im wierd that strays trust me lol. But yes call animal control so that they can have a good home (there strays in the city if they where forest strays that would be a different story)

I actually have a friend that adopted a stray when she found the kitten huddling around a dumpster where his mother had (presumably) been run over by a garbage truck. She nursed the kitten to health and has kept him ever since. The cat is now very protective of her, in fact will often hiss whenever anyone comes into the house.
