I believe. I know when I was pregnant with my son I saw his great grandfather walk up stairs. The man had been dead for about 10 years. I had never seen him before. When I told my then husband about it he showed me a picture of his grandfather and it was the same person. I truly believe that he is my son's guardian angel.

When I was 19 or 20 my friend and I lived in  a duplex. The railing would fall if you touched it. One night after we both went to bed, we were woken up by the railing falling. There was noone else and no pets. later, we had a shelf unit behind the toilet, we found something red dripping on it from the top. We had nothing on it that was red and it did not come from the ceiling. It was spooky.

My husbands aunt remolded her kitchen and the whole time she was doing it, doors would slam shut.

needless to say, i believe in ghosts. i also believe everyone has a guardian angel.

I also believe that everyone has a angel sent from
heaven to protect them.

On the flip side of the coin there is also evil spirits
too.

well heres what i believe. i hear that people r haunted n i hear that places r haunted. both true. y we see ghosts, spirits, what ever u call them. they appear when they miss you, u really miss them n theyll try to take u, a newborn, their lonely, they werent ready to go, they want to tell u somthing, they feel unjustice was done to them, or still think their alive. but not all of the time and most of the time u dont actaully see anything, it could be an event or a case of luck, getting what u want. it could be family and firends or a stranger. but keep in mind that this is only wat i believe.

I definitely believe in "ghosts". Not necessarily the chain-rattling, booooing kind. When I was in nursing school in about '99 soon after my grandmother's death (she was also a nurse), I was worried sleepless about an exam I had coming up the next day when I felt a tight but comforting embrace that was completely peaceful. I looked around thinking it was my husband but he was faced the opposite way asleep. I knew it was her letting me know she was with me and everything would be fine. It was.

When I was younger, there were a couple of incidences of paranormal activity in my family's home that were undeniably of the "ghost" kind. Weird experiences that happened in only my parent's room but were not done by us by virtue of our intense study of the situations. We researched and finally came to the conclusion it or they were poltergeists because of the descriptions and behaviors. We found out they like to go where children are and there were two of us in the house. Strange thing is none of us were ever scared of these incidences or "things", even as young as my brother and I were. We didn't feel threatened in the least. One of the characteristics is that poltergeists don't mean any harm, they just like showing their presence, especially where there are children around. Was actually kind of fun.  :o

Speaking of...Have you seen the movie paranormal activity?

I believe that we are never alone in our daily struggles to make ammends for whatever transgressions we have been through and yes my fiance's had some health problems in late pregnancy stages and her grandmother died like 10 years ago but the strength from knowing she was near has helped ease things a bit! Our gorgeous daughter is 2 months old and she laughs and plays and actually coos at her great grandmother's picture like she's talking to her !

Paranormal Activity was a horrid movie...in the first one hour of the movie, all that happened was a bedroom door moved 4 inches very slowly. Then there were 3 different endings made, with the worst one being the one shown in theatres.

Oh, and I don't believe in ghosties.

:) I believe ghosts really exist. I have seen some of them. I do not called them 'ghosts'...I called them 'holy spirits'...no matter how different they look.
What makes them "holy"?
And they are not "angels" as in "guardian angels" either. That's just your ancestors who have always been there to guide you.

Learn to quiet your mind so that you can hear them.
They now posses the wisdom of innumerable generations, they are there to guide you if you let them.

Has anyone seen the movie "Avatar" - seems like there are alot of parallels here. I really liked that aspect of the movie.

I believe ghosts really exist.  Most of them I think are harmless but there are certainly some that mean do cause destruction.  I know people who have first hand accounts and I lived in a house that was haunted when I was very young.

We thought we heard a ghost today.  Small footsteps, a light flicked on, and the door shut.....turned out my daughter climbed out of her crib and down the stairs  :bootyshake:

I'm a skeptical believer.  I definitely want to believe but it's hard without proof that I have seen firsthand.

I've seen a few different ghost story shows; Ghost Adventures, Scariest Places on Earth, A Haunting, etc. I do not believe in ghosts.
